    Abstract: A magnetic bearing assembly for a rotatable support apparatus includes a first stationary section, a second section disposed on the first section and a shaft member secured to the base section and passing through the first section. The shaft member defines an axle for rotation for the first section wherein the magnetic bearing assembly is defined by at least one pair of magnets disposed in relation to the shaft member, the at least one pair of magnets including magnetic face surfaces aligned such that a repelling field is established between the at least one pair of magnets, wherein the first section is attached to at least one of the magnets.
