  • Publication number: 20220282417
Abstract: An automatic laundry treating appliance having at least one sensor configured to detect the height of laundry in a treating chamber of the automatic laundry treating appliance is disclosed. Based upon the output of the sensors, a human-perceptible signal is generated to indicate whether the laundry load is below, within or above an optimal range for the laundry load. Further, the automatic laundry treating appliance may communicate to the user after completion of a drying function information related to whether the amount of laundry treated during the drying function exceeded an upper limit for an optimal amount of laundry based upon data acquired during the drying function.

  • Patent number: 11432308
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for providing network access services to mobile users via mobile terminals over a satellite system. In embodiments, dynamic multiplexing of traffic from fixed terminals and mobile users on the same satellite beam can take advantage of statistical multiplexing of large numbers of users and on different usage patterns between fixed terminals and mobile users. In embodiments, quality-of-service (QoS) is controlled for mobile devices at a per-user level. Mobile users may be provisioned on the satellite system according to a set of traffic policies based on their service level agreement (SLA). System resources of the satellite may be allocated to mobile users based on the demand of each mobile user and the set of traffic polices associated with each mobile user, regardless of which mobile terminal is used to access the system.

  • Publication number: 20220221082
Abstract: A diaphragm assembly for a mass flow controller is disclosed. The diaphragm assembly includes an aperture, side walls extending from the aperture and disposed about a central axis, the side walls including multiple convolutions, and a poppet including an interior surface facing the aperture and exterior sealing surface. At least a portion of the diaphragm assembly moveable extends and retracts within a control valve cavity of the mass flow controller. A push rod extending from the interior surface of the poppet moves, responsive to an actuator of the mass flow controller, to enable the exterior sealing surface of the poppet to open and close a flow path through the control valve cavity.

  • Patent number: 11347565
Abstract: A method and system of providing users with a tool to interact with content from a primary app through a secondary app are disclosed. The secondary app obtains source data from the primary app and determines whether the data includes labels that can trigger the application of a particular configuration in the presentation of the content. Changes made to the source data in the secondary app that relate to substantive or key data for the content do not affect the source data in the primary app. However, changes made in the secondary app that relate to non-substantive data can be propagated back to the primary app.

  • Patent number: 11313649
Abstract: An elevation range meter is configured to be used in conjunction with a reticle to provide an offset range marking, such as an offset range distance that a target is located over on the reticle before firing. An offset range distance factors in the range to the target and the elevation of the firearm. The elevation range meter has a weighted dial that rotates with respect to the barrel or elevation angle to indicate an offset range marking, such as a distance, milliradians or minutes of angle, from a plurality of elevation range marking columns on the weighted dial. The weighted dial may have a plurality of columns of elevation range markings and the appropriate column for the determined range may be selected to indicate the offset range distance. The user may then locate the target on the reticle at this offset range distance before firing.

  • Publication number: 20220074348
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure generally relate to a turbine engine and method of operating a turbine engine having an engine core including a compressor, combustor, and turbine in axial flow arrangement, whereby a working airflow passes through the engine core from the compressor to the turbine to define a flow direction through the engine core. The method includes generating a shockwave in the working airflow that propagates in the flow direction, and at least partially attenuating the shockwave.

  • Publication number: 20210378227
Abstract: A robotic orchard spraying system having autonomous delivery vehicles (ADV), each autonomously delivering an amount of a premixed solution over a non-overlapping path verified by a forward-looking sensor, video, or both. Also, a mobile control center, configured to wirelessly inform the autonomous delivery vehicle of the path within the areas and to confirm that the autonomous delivery vehicle is following the path within the area. Additionally, a mapper vehicle generates the path within the area, the mapper vehicle being configured to communicate information about the path and the area to the command center. The mapper vehicle senses the path with a forward-looking LiDAR sensor, and senses the area with a GPS sensor. Moreover, a nurse truck has a reservoir of premixed solution for replenishing a tank of the ADV. ADVs and the control center communicate over a radio network, which may be a mesh network, a cellular network, or both.

  • Patent number: 11195242
Abstract: A system may include a first computing system that may include at least one processor. The at least one processor may receive a request for identification information associated with a user of the first computing device, such that the request is received from a second computing device. The at least one processor may then receive information regarding an entity associated with the second computing device, retrieve data comprising the identification information from a storage component, generate additional data comprising a portion of the identification information based on the information regarding the entity, and send the additional data to the second computing device.

  • Publication number: 20210192067
Abstract: A user interface for interacting with multiple databases allows a user to lock or unlock access to their data in multiple databases simultaneously, each database being controlled by a different entity. A user interface server communicates with servers of the multiple databases to request that the consumer's data be locked or unlocked. The user interface server may also report to the consumer the lock status of the consumer's data in each of the multiple databases. To authenticate the user, the user interface for interacting with multiple databases may provide one or more authentication prompts prior to allowing the user to lock or unlock access to their data. The authentication prompts may be provided by one or more of the multiple entities.
