  • Publication number: 20220327314
Abstract: A device, method and system for pruning video analytics parameters is provided. A device analyzes images from a camera installed at an installation location using a full initial machine learning model trained to detect objects in the images using video analytics parameters, the full initial machine learning model being independent of the installation location. The device gathers, for a period of time, statistics for: frequency of use of the video analytics parameters and/or error generation frequency in detecting the objects in the images. After the period of time, based on the statistics, the device determines that given video analytics parameters meets one or more pruning conditions; and, in response, prunes the given video analytics parameters such that the full initial machine learning model, initially provided for the camera, changes to an updated machine learning model for the camera.

  • Publication number: 20220329473
Abstract: Techniques are described for automating the configuration of a simple network management protocol (SNMP) manager device for enabling collection of SNMP data from one or more SNMP-enabled devices. Based upon SNMP object identifiers (OIDs) received from an SNMP-enabled device, processing is performed to map the OIDs to one or more SNMP management information bases (MIBs) corresponding to the OIDs. The identification of the OIDs and mapping the OIDs to one or more MIBs is performed in an automated manner and substantially free of any human or manual intervention. The identified one or more MIBs are then used to configure the SNMP manager to enable SNMP communications between the SNMP-enabled device and the SNMP manager. In certain implementations, the identified one or more MIBs are loaded into system memory by the SNMP manager.

  • Publication number: 20220201202
Abstract: A device, method and system for installing video analytics parameters at a video analytics engine is provided. An example device determines that a classification of a first camera is one or more of similar to, and same as, a respective classification of at least one second camera. The example device retrieves, from a memory, video analytics parameters associated with the at least one second camera, the video analytics parameters stored at the memory in association with the respective classification. The example device causes installing of the video analytics parameters at a video analytics engine associated with the first camera.

  • Patent number: 11354881
Abstract: Systems and methods for realizing practical applications of high speed digital image correlation (DIC) for dynamic quantities of interest are provided. In particular, a series of images are captured for a component of interest in which a non-filtered sensor and an analog low-pass filtered sensor are included within the region of interest for the series of images. Displacement signals are obtained for the component of interest, the non-filtered sensor, and the analog low-pass filtered sensor by applying digital image correlation processing to the series of images, which may also be wavelet filtered. Dynamic quantities of interest may be generated and derived from the displacement signals after having been wavelet filtered. Such dynamic quantities of interest based on the wavelet filtered DIC-derived displacement signal may be compared to sensor-derived dynamic quantities of interest to determine if aliasing is or is likely to be present.

  • Publication number: 20220154554
Abstract: A flow stopper has an elongated shape for positioning in a tubular cavity of a check valve. The elongated shape has a concave section such that the flow stopper can impact a line running along an inner surface of a housing forming the tubular cavity in a lengthwise direction of the tubular cavity. The concave section allows the flow stopper to impact the housing with a first point of contact and a second point of contact on the line, and the two points of contact are separated by a gap where the flow stopper does not contact the housing. The flow stopper may include a first and a second ball where the balls are connected by a stem. The flow stopper may also include a plurality of balls that are not connected to each other. The flow stopper may include a ball connected to a stem.

  • Publication number: 20220149879
Abstract: Systems and methods for antenna impedance matching provide an integrated. circuit (IC) configured to be placed proximate an antenna that includes a sensor based on a coupler having forward and reverse power detectors for detecting an impedance at the antenna and provides dynamic impedance matching. Further, exemplary aspects of the present disclosure contemplate using a single wire bus capable of supplying power and providing a bidirectional serial communication link to allow communication between the IC of the present disclosure and a control circuit (e.g., a bridge or transceiver). Further aspects of the present disclosure contemplate providing systems and methods for calibrating the IC at production. Further, the accuracy of the impedance sensor may be dependent on accurate determination of power and phase difference between forward and. reverse coupled signals, and a system for removing an offset between the forward and reverse power detectors is disclosed.
