Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for recording a literary work. An apparatus for recording a literary work can include a booth and a recording system. The recording system can include a display screen, a microphone and a CPU. A user can interact with the recording system to record a literary work. In one method, the user can activate the recording system and the recording system can prompt the user to enter information, for example information about the user and about the literary work that the user wishes to read. The user can then read the literary work and the recording system can make an audio or video recording of the reading.
