  • Patent number: 6522941
Abstract: The chuck 10, for positioning and holding a pipe at any rotational angle position around the axial center, is provided with the three dimensional linear processing machine. When the machining program PRO is composed, a plurality of the shape patterns KPT classified machining modes concerning pipes by machining shape is displayed on the display 23. Furthermore, dimensional data item concerning selected shape pattern is displayed on the display 23. Then, the machining program PRO is composed on the basis of the input code parameter CP and the selected shape pattern KPT. Besides, shift quantity TMz and TMy are measured when the pipe to be machined is installed on the chuck 10, and on the basis of this, the machining program PRO is amended and executed.

  • Patent number: 6311966
Abstract: A head support rest 29 is provided with machine bodies 21, 25 being movable and drivable in a horizontal direction, being free to go up and down. One or more absorption means aggregates 550 are provided with the head support rest 29, being free to move and position in a horizontal two-dimensional direction through a horizontal direction moving structure 33, 35, 36, 47, 49, 51 and 52. The absorption means aggregate 550 has a plurality of absorption means 55 provided such that absorption portions 57 are adjacent to one another. Absorption driving means 60, 62, 63, 65 are connected with each of absorption means 55. Then, a fine workpiece having complex shape can be also appropriately absorbed and carried.

  • Patent number: 5191817
Abstract: A complex machine tool has a single frame having a chip collecting space at a center portion thereof, first and second spindle stocks on the frame, relatively free to move and drive in a Z axis direction and holding the chip collecting space therebetween, workpiece spindles on the spindle stocks free to rotate and drive and facing each other, and tool rests. The tool rests have turrets and can assume various kinds of movement. Complicated and varied types of machining can be performed combining the rotation control of the workpiece spindles and the spindle stocks.
