  • Publication number: 20240133792
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for ghost cytometry (GC), which may be used to produce an image of an object without using a spatially resolving detector. This may be used to perform image-free ultrafast fluorescence “imaging” cytometry, based on, for example, a single pixel detector. Spatial information obtained from the motion of cells relative to a patterned optical structure may be compressively converted into signals that arrive sequentially at a single pixel detector. Combinatorial use of the temporal waveform with the intensity distribution of the random or pseudo-random pattern may permit computational reconstruction of cell morphology. Machine learning methods may be applied directly to the compressed waveforms without image reconstruction to enable efficient image-free morphology-based cytometry.

  • Publication number: 20210172787
Abstract: [Problem] To enable a reduction in downtime. [Solution] A remedy judging system (100) includes a weight checking device (3) and a judgment unit (6). The weight checking device (3) checks the weight of weighed product discharged from a weighing device. The judgment unit (6) makes a judgment relating to remedies for the weighing device on the basis of “correct weight,” “overweight,” and “underweight” checking results, relative to a predetermined weight serving as a norm, obtained by the weight checking device (3). The judgment unit (6) makes the judgment on the basis of determination patterns having an “underweight” checking result and at least one checking result that consecutively follows the “underweight” checking result.

  • Patent number: 10266288
Abstract: Certain implementations provide a form-fill-seal machine that can efficiently seal a packaging material. The transverse sealing unit may have first members to sandwich the packaging material and sealing the packaging material in a transverse direction, and second members for squeezing the packaging material while sandwiching the packaging material with a prescribed gap left therebetween. The control unit may cause the packaging material to be squeezed by the second members by causing the transverse sealing unit located at a reference position to descend faster than the packaging material being conveyed downward. The control unit may cause the transverse sealing unit to ascend while the packaging material is being sealed by the first members. The control unit may cause the transverse sealing unit to move such that the first members are separated from the packaging material.
