  • Patent number: 5884373
Abstract: In an auto-lock slide fastener slider, a slider body has on an upper wing front and rear attachment lugs and at a position near the rear attachment lug between the two lugs a locking-pawl-insertion hole and in front of the hole a forwardly sloping guide surface. An axle of a pull tab is movably supported on the guide surface. Over the pull-tab axle, a locking leaf spring, which has at one end a locking pawl, at the other end a hook and at the center a resilient tongue punched out upwardly so as to form a longitudinal opening, is placed on the upper wing so as that the locking pawl is inserted in the hole while the hook is slidably engaged with the front lug, and that a central projection is loosely inserted through the opening 23. A cover is mounted on the front and rear lugs so as to define a gap between the cover and the front lug. When the spring is moved forwardly, the locking pawl comes into contact with a front wall of the hole, so that the locking pawl can be protected.

  • Patent number: 5848455
Abstract: In an auto-lock slide fastener slider composed of four members, i.e., a slider body, a pull tab, a locking member and a cover, the slider body has front and rear resilient cover-attachment projections extending from an upper wing and terminating respectively in outwardly directed hooks while the cover is made of thermoplastic resin and has on respective inner edges of front and rear end walls corresponding inwardly directed hook portions resiliently engaged with the hooks of the cover-attachment projections. The cover can be attached to the slider body simply in a single snap action. Since all parts of the attaching mechanism are concealed by the cover, the resulting slider is neat in appearance.

  • Patent number: 5079091
Abstract: According to the present invention, incineration ashes of sewerage sludge are compacted with pressure, but without additives, to have the bulk specific gravity of 0.9-2.5. Since the green compact has sufficient strength and reduced volume in comparison with the incineration ashes before compacting, it enables mass dumping without causing secondary pollution. Moreover, if the green compact is fired to have the bulk specific gravity of 1.4-3.5, both the volume and weight are reduced much more, realizing easy handling of the resulted burned product.
