    Abstract: A parking device includes a parking gear, a parking pawl, and a torsion spring. The parking gear is directly coupled to an axle. The parking pawl is pivotably supported by a fulcrum pin and provided with a claw configured to be able to mesh with a tooth space of the parking gear. The torsion spring is fitted on the fulcrum pin, with a first end of the torsion spring mounted on the parking pawl and a second end of the torsion spring mounted on a holding member that holds the fulcrum pin.
