  • Publication number: 20240123415
Abstract: A reactor for the decomposition of hydrocarbons includes: a structural catalyst for the decomposition of hydrocarbons having a structure in which a reaction gas may flow from one end to the other end when installed properly in a reaction chamber; and the heat source that is installed inside or outside the reaction chamber and capable of heating the structural catalyst for the decomposition of hydrocarbons. The structural catalyst for the decomposition of hydrocarbons has a shape encompassing a boundary wall surface or a boundary side that separates the structural catalyst for the decomposition of hydrocarbons from the heat source when viewed from a cross-section vertical to a direction of flowing a reaction gas, as well as the reaction furnace in which the reactor is embedded together with a catalyst module.

  • Publication number: 20220370987
Abstract: A catalyst for decomposition of hydrocarbons that is hard to cause deterioration of catalytic properties and suitable for producing hydrogen in a highly efficient manner for a long period is provided. The catalyst for the decomposition of hydrocarbons includes a nickel-containing layer exposed on a support layer selected from the group consisting of iron, cast iron, steel, copper, nickel, copper alloy, and iron nickel alloy. The catalyst for decomposition of hydrocarbons is produced by contacting a raw material of the catalyst with methane gas at an elevated temperature of 800° C. for 4 to 72 hours with an average residence time beyond 14 minutes. The catalyst further includes an interlayer comprising copper between the support layer and the nickel-containing layer, or the support layer is copper or copper alloy.

  • Patent number: 5351372
Abstract: A cargo fastening belt is provided with a detachable end metal fitting so that different types of end metal fittings can be provided for a single type of cargo fastening belt. A rail engaging metal fitting that is attached to one end of a cargo fastening belt is adapted to be detachably engaged with a slot in a rial for fastening cargo. The detachable end metal fitting is thus detachably attached to the rail engaging metal fitting by the provision of a slot in a metal fitting main body for connection with the rail engaging metal fitting. Alternatively, the cargo fastening belt may have a ring portion at one end thereof, and the detachable end metal fitting may be detachably attached to the ring portion.

  • Patent number: 5060566
Abstract: A press apparatus is disclosed which includes a bed, a pair of opposing ram guides fixedly mounted to the bed, and a ram slidably mounted to the ram guides for linear movement relative to the bed. A pair of pull links is arranged on opposing sides of the ram, and a pull link support shaft is provided to pivotably mount the lower ends of the pull links to the bed for pivotal movement together relative to the bed. A pair of lever links is arranged on opposing sides of the ram, and a lever link support shaft is provided to pivotally mount the pair of lever links to the ram for pivotal movement together relative to the ram. A first connecting shaft is provided to pivotally mount the upper end of each of the pull links to a respective one of the lever links. A reciprocating cylinder device is operatively connected to the lever links in order to selectively force the lever links to pivot together in first and second rotational directions relative to the ram when operated in first and second selected manners.

  • Patent number: 5020948
Abstract: A belt fitting engagement rail has a rail body for mounting on the inside of a side of a container and having a center portion bulged laterally from the longitudinally extending edge portions. The center portion has a plurality of engagement holes therein spaced along the length of the rail at constant intervals. The engagement holes each have a cross-shape defined by two elongated intersecting portions, one such portion extending longitudinally of the rail and the other extending transversely of the rail. The ends of the transversely extending portions are spaced inwardly of the edge portions to leave a space on the center portion.
