  • Publication number: 20180363171
Abstract: A woven fabric hardly causes yarn slippage due to friction, is excellent in abrasion resistance, has a smooth surface, and is excellent in touch feeling. The woven fabric includes a warp and a weft, at least one of the warp and the weft being at least partially a fiber (M) that is a monofilament 1, a fiber (N) crossing the fiber (M) being at least partially a multifilament 2.

  • Patent number: 9334588
Abstract: A three-dimension fabric by which a three-dimension fabric surface can be formed by supporting the fabric edges by a frame member and stretching the fabric, wherein the fabric per se, which constitutes the fabric surface, is provided with at least one heterogeneous portion that is different at least in yarn type and/or fabric structure type from the adjacent portion. Thus, the three-dimension fabric can be easily made into a construct of a desirable shape without using a frame having a complicated shape.

Date of Patent: May 10, 2016
    Assignee: Toray Industries, Inc.
Inventors: Tatsuya Kosui, Hiroaki Date, Ryosuke Yamao, Hiroshi Tsuchikura
  • Patent number: 9315926
Abstract: A stretch fabric in which one yarn of warp and weft yarns is obtained from an inelastic yarn having a crimp ratio of 5% to 30% and at least a portion of the other is obtained from an elastic yarn having a crimp ratio of 0% to 5%, and characterized in that the extension percentage in a load direction along the former yarn is 5% to 30% when weighted with a 340N/5 cm load in the load direction. The stretch fabric has excellent cushioning properties and fatigue resistance, and can be used as a material that saves space and combines holding properties with cushioning properties.
