Abstract: A vehicle power source device which can improve the accuracy of battery deterioration detection. The vehicle power source device (100) is provided with: generator (110) which is in-built in a vehicle; high-voltage first battery (120) which stores the electricity generated by the generator (110); DC/DC converter (140) which is provided between the generator (110) and the first battery (120), and electrical component (180); second battery (130) which is connected to the first battery (120) via the DC/DC converter (140), and which has a lower voltage than the first battery (120); and power source ECU (150) which controls the DC/DC converter (140). If the current drawn from the first battery (120) satisfies predicted conditions, the power source ECU (150) increases the output voltage of the DC/DC converter, measures the parameters required to detect the deterioration of the first battery (120), and determines the deterioration of the first battery (120).

In a three-dimensional image displaying system (1) of the present invention, a display device (3) sequentially executes a display process for a piece of data outputted from an image generating device (2) so as to emit a light which is a plurality of lights multiplexed over a time axis, wherein each light represents an object. A focal length changing device (4) gives a sense of three-dimensionality, in other words, a sense of distance to each object included in the light so as to generate a three-dimensional image light having an ability to enter a vision in three-dimensional manner. A reflection component (6) reflects the multiplexed light in a direction of the observer (V) so as to provide the observer with a three-dimensional image in which the object is synthesized.

  • Patent number: 7102497
Abstract: First through third light reception elements 111–113 receive infrared data D from an operation input transmission section 2, and output the received data to an operation input permission determination section 12a. The operation input permission determination section 12a distinguishes among the first through third infrared light reception elements 111–113, thereby determining in which space an operation input has been performed, and analyzes the description of the operation input, thereby determining whether to accept the operation input. A calculation processing section 13a performs various processes based on the description of the operation input from the operation input permission determination section 12a, a processing result of a position detection section 17, and map data stored in a map data storage section 16. A drawing processing section 14a performs a process of outputting a processing result of the calculation processing section 13a to first and second displays 3 and 4.

  • Patent number: 6778904
Abstract: A turn-by-turn on-vehicle navigation system is capable of providing drivers with helpful and appropriate information to free them from their various anxieties caused as a result of relatively less information on a display. When the vehicle's current position is located on a recommended route after the completion of a certain guidance the driver is determined as properly driving the vehicle as expected, and receives a message telling that he/she is on the right track. With such a message, the driver does not feel anxiety that often occurs when making a turn at an intersection. Further, when the vehicle passes by a predetermined landmark located at close range, supplemental information is provided for the location. Such information removes the driver's uneasiness when he/she keeps going straight along the same road for a long time. Still further, at the destination, information about the area is provided. Thereby, the driver can feel secure even if he/she is new to the area.

  • Publication number: 20020128768
Abstract: A terminal 1 transmits a route guide information request message that specifies the starting point and the destination point to a center station 2. The center station 2 searches for a route based on the received message, and transmits route guide information including a recommended route. On the recommended route, points where the direction of travel is changed more than a predetermined angle or points where the name of the road is changed are set as guide points. The route guide information includes data varying in degree of details depending on areas surrounding the guide points or the other areas. For each area surrounding the guide point, the route guide information includes the direction of travel at that guide point, detailed information about road shapes, road network data including not only the recommended road but also the other roads, etc. For each of the other areas, minimum guide information required is included in the route guide information.
