Abstract: A urine-collecting apparatus for a wheel-chair is detachably incorporated in a wheel-chair or special-purpose chair at a portion under a seat part thereof. The central portion of the front part of a seat of the wheel-chair or special-purpose chair is cut in a U shape. A tube is passed through the cut part in the seat. The tube provides a communication between a urine-receiving part previously attached to the genital part of special-purpose underpants or drawers worn by a user of the wheel-chair or special-purpose chair and a urinal-tank. Moreover, a urinal-case is installed on the underside of a seat-plate at the cut part. Thus, the user can readily urinate while taking a seated posture.

Abstract: This invention relates to a urinary appliance for use by incontinent patients. The urinary appliance of the present invention is equipped with a genital receiving bag 3 made of a soft and flexible fabric that is permeable to air, and water repellent. A urinal 8 or a urine storage bag 32 is connected to the genital receiving bag 3. A highly water-absorbent resin 34 is placed inside the urine storage bag 32 so as to absorb and gel the urine.

Abstract: A body massage apparatus for propagating vibrations of a vibrator to a selected part of the human body through a pad member. The body massage apparatus generally includes a case in which a motor is mounted for producing vibrations. The attaching components, are secured to the case for attaching a selected pad member thereto, and they comprise a dial rotatably mounted in the case, and directly accessible to the user, for engagement with the pad member.

Abstract: When an elderly person is confined to bed, or a patient is suffering from a spinal cord injury, and has the automatic urine collecting apparatus of this invention fastened to him, has urine incontinence, the sensor of the system detects the first drop of discharged urine. The urine is automatically carried along with the air sucked from the urine receiving unit and transmitted to a urinal. The air is supplied to the urine receiving unit through a multitude of small holes bored at the top thereof and a soft vinyl tube connected thereto and extended outside. To further supply air into the urine receiving unit, said vinyl tube may be connected to a pipe discharging the exhaust air during the time a pump is operating. A warm water feed pipe may be connected to said vinyl tube for cleansing the patient's private parts.
