  • Publication number: 20220240753
Abstract: An insertion instrument includes: an insertion portion including a bending portion; an operation portion; one operation lever provided to the operation portion, the operation lever being configured to tilt, to cause the bending portion to bend in a predetermined direction; a movable member provided around the operation lever and configured to move according to tilting of the operation lever; and at least one indicator configured to change according to a movement of the movable member, the at least one indicator being visually recognizable.

  • Publication number: 20140275787
Abstract: An endoscope cleaning sheath includes a sheath main body, a distal-side fixing portion fixed to a distal portion of the sheath main body, and a proximal-side fixing portion fixed to a proximal portion of the sheath main body. The endoscope cleaning sheath includes a linear portion having a distal end fixed to the distal-side fixing portion at a distal-side connecting position and a proximal end fixed to the proximal-side fixing portion at a proximal-side connecting position, extended along a linear core axis between the distal-side connecting position and the proximal-side connecting position, and having a higher tensile strength in directions parallel to the longitudinal axis than the sheath main body.

  • Patent number: 8663090
Abstract: An endoscope cleaning sheath includes a flexible tube body that is mounted to an insertion portion having a bending portion included in an endoscope, and that has a plurality of through-holes parallel to a longitudinal axis; and a cylindrical distal end nozzle that is provided at a distal end portion of the flexible tube body and that sprays at least one of a gas and a liquid at least at an observation window provided at a distal end portion of the insertion portion of the endoscope. The through-holes are a hole for an endoscope insertion portion through which the insertion portion of the endoscope is inserted, and at least a first fluid conduit that supplies gas and a second fluid conduit that supplies liquid. The first fluid conduit and the second fluid conduit are provided at positions in a direction that is different from a bending direction of the bending portion of the insertion portion that is inserted and disposed in the hole for an endoscope insertion portion.

  • Patent number: 8366606
Abstract: A first bendable section which can be bent in an arbitrary direction and a second bendable section which can be bent in the bending direction of this first bendable section are provided at the tip end side of an insertion portion. A balloon which is inflated/contracted by feed/discharge of a fluid is provided in this second bendable section so that hardness of this second bendable section can be varied and insertion work into a curved portion is facilitated.

  • Patent number: 8079952
Abstract: An endoscope cleaning sheath includes a tube body and a distal end configuration portion. The tube body includes an endoscope disposition hole in which an insertion portion of an endoscope provided with at least an observation window is inserted and disposed, at least one liquid supply hole configuring a liquid supply channel, and at least one gas supply hole configuring a gas supply channel. The distal end configuration portion is fixed to a distal end portion of the tube body. On an inner surface of a distal end surface portion of the distal end configuration portion is provided a fluid mixing portion and a concave portion configuring an ejection opening that ejects a fluid mixture at an observation window of the endoscope. The fluid mixing portion causes liquid supplied through the liquid supply hole and gas supplied through the gas supply hole to merge to mix the liquid and gas.
