  • Patent number: 8556692
Abstract: To provide a game device that allows a user to grasp a positional situation of a user character relatively easily in a game device for executing a game based on a position of the user character that moves in a game space according to an operation of the user. Position storage means (70a) stores the position of the user character that moves in the game space according to the operation of the user. Determination means (74) determines whether or not the position of the user character satisfies a positional condition regarding the position of the user character. Display control means (76) controls, based on a determination result obtained by the determination means (74), display-output related to a game character that is not being operated by the user.

  • Patent number: 8506371
Abstract: To provide a game device for enabling a game player to recognize a positional relationship among respective game characters even when the game characters are located densely in an area. A game data update unit (54) carries out a game in which a plurality of player objects appear. A game screen image display control unit (56) displays a game screen image including the image of a player object. However, when player objects numbering a reference number or more are present within a predetermined noted area, the game screen image display control unit (56) restricts displaying of the images of the player objects and instead shows position indicator images having a smaller area than the images in the game screen image.
