  • Patent number: 9181734
Abstract: In a vehicle door handle device, an operating member is pivotally supported to a handle base. A door lock device is operated via an operating force transmitting part by a rotation of the operating member from an initial position to an operating position. A connection-retaining member attached to the operating member retains a connection of one end of the operating force transmitting part to the operating member and abuts against a stopper wall surface of the handle base so as to define an operating stroke end position of the operating member. A second stopper is provided on the operating member and abuts against the handle base in an over-stroke position beyond the operating stroke end position.

  • Patent number: 9045920
Abstract: A vehicle door handle device is provided with a handle base, an escutcheon member, and a plurality of connection portions which connect the handle base and the escutcheon member to each other. The plurality of connecting portions include: a first connecting portion including an inclined surface which causes a motion component force toward a frame exterior to be generated in the escutcheon member by a horizontal operating force applied to the escutcheon member, thereby unlocking the first connecting portion; a second connection portion which is unlocked by deforming the escutcheon member using a moveable region in a vicinity of the first connection portion generated by the unlocking in the first connecting portion; and an n-th connection portion which is unlocked by deforming the escutcheon member using the moveable region due to the unlocking in the preceding connection portions.

  • Publication number: 20070075828
Abstract: A door opener-closer includes a door handle. The door opener-closer includes a magnetic body core made of a soft magnetic body, is received in the door handle, and includes a plastic antenna serving as transmitter-receiver communicating with a portable device. The door opener-closer includes a handle body having a backface side formed with a cover receiver. The door opener-closer includes a cover handle united with the antenna and made of a plastic resin. The cover handle mates with the cover receiver in such a manner as to be held by the cover receiver. A sensor senses at least one of the followings which are implemented by an operator carrying the portable device: approaching a door, contacting the door, and operating the door. The transmitter-receiver and the portable device communicate with each other, thus locking or unlocking the door.

  • Patent number: 6167779
Abstract: Boss axes are provided to a pair of supporting walls, which are opposed to each other, on a base to project therefrom. Flat surfaces of the boss axes are tilted relative to a center line of the groove in a latching position such that a releasing direction of a handle in a releasing position is positioned on an opposite side to an operating portion positioned in the latching position. Accordingly, overlapping lengths between circular arc surfaces of the boss axes in the unlatching position and the partial inner peripheral surface of the bearing hole can be increased. Therefore, a surface pressure applied to the boss axes of the base can be reduced in the unlatching position and thus the handle supporting strength can be improved.
