Abstract: A personal navigation system includes a hearing device configured to be head worn and having speakers for emission of sound towards ears of a user, the hearing device accommodating an inertial measurement unit for determining head yaw of the user, when the user wears the hearing device in its intended operational position on the user's head. The system also includes a GPS unit for determining a geographical position of the user, a sound generator connected for outputting audio signals to the speakers, and a pair of filters with a Head-Related Transfer Function connected in parallel between the sound generator and the speakers for generation of a binaural acoustic sound signal, wherein the speakers are configured to emit the sound towards the ears of the user so that the sound is perceived by the user as coming from a sound source positioned in a direction corresponding to the Head-Related Transfer Function.

Abstract: Enterprise resource planning systems can be configured to help businesses keep track of events that could affect one or more supply chains. A key purpose for such a system is to ensure a smooth flow of goods or services from suppliers to purchasers. One way to help ensure that the supply chain is efficiently maintained is to set alerts when events occur. However, alerts are usually not flexible or as easy to use as users would like. An apparatus and methods are provided for facilitating the creation and use of user-defined event rules for aggregate fields. Aggregate fields are defined by a user, who can also define one or more rules relative to the aggregate field.

Abstract: The properties of dough or bread can be improved by the addition of a carbohydrate oxidase which can oxidize the reducing end of an oligosaccharide more efficiently than the corresponding monosaccharide, e.g., preferentially oxidizing maltodextrins or cellodextrins over glucose. A novel carbohydrate oxidase having the capability to oxidize maltodextrins and cellodextrins more efficiently than glucose may be obtained from a strain of Microdochium, particularly M. nivale. The amino acid sequence of the novel carbohydrate oxidase has very low homology (<20% identity) with known amino acid sequences.

Abstract: The inventors have isolated lysophospholipases from Aspergillus (A. niger and A. oryzae) having molecular masses of about 68 kDa and amino acid sequences of 600-604 amino acid residues. The novel lysophospholipases have only a limited homology to known amino acid sequences. The inventors also isolated genes encoding the novel enzymes and cloned them into E. coli strains.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus manually route incoming calls in a network in which an individual subscriber may be reached by the same telephone number on a number of different terminals, depending on, e.g., the type of incoming call and the time of day. An incoming call is automatically directed to one telephone, from which the subscriber may select to direct the call, e.g., to a fax machine, or an answering service. The terminals in question may be specified by the subscriber and identified by short numbers. An SSP and an SCP may be adapted to perform the service.
