The user of the image forming apparatus can correctly understand that multiple sets of identical images have been sent.

Abstract: A resealable cartridge for sheets of photographic film includes a one-piece, photo-inert and optically opaque polymer tray. The tray has a generally planar bottom wall and front, back and side walls with upper edges and outwardly extending lips. The lip extending from the front wall includes a series of spaced cut-outs. A flexible, photo-inert and optically opaque foil laminate cover for the tray has front, back and side edges. The front edge of the cover includes spaced opening/closing mechanism-engaging apertures which overlie the cutouts in the front lip of the tray. Photo-inert and optically opaque adhesive segments on the lips of the tray provide a resealable opaque seal between the edges of the cover and lips of the tray.

Abstract: Disclosed is a magazine for photosensitive sheets, comprising a box-type casing in which photosensitive sheets are stored, the casing having an opening, and a cover member removably stuck on the casing to cover the opening. When the magazine is used, the cover member is removed from the casing to uncover the opening. The end portion of the cover member with which the cover member starts to be removed from the casing has less elasticity than the other part of the cover member.

Abstract: A recording sheet storing apparatus includes a magazine having a removable cover that is adhered to the surface of the magazine. The magazine can be placed into a recording apparatus and the cover can be engaged with a winding device that can reciprocate to remove the cover member and subsequently to reseal it. A transmission system can apply a driving force to the winding means and a driving force to a carriage which supports the winding device as it moves along the magazine.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a transport device for transporting a recording medium comprising an inlet channel formed by a first guide member, a switching channel formed by a second guide member and communicating with said inlet channel, an outlet channel formed by a third guide member and connected to the junction of the inlet channel and said switching channel, transport member located at the upstream of the junction of the inlet channel and the switching channel with respect to a recording medium transport direction for transporting the recording medium through the inlet channel into the switching channel and reverse member located at the junction of the inlet channel, the switching channel and the outlet channel for backwardly transporting the recording medium into the outlet channel as released from the transport member after the recording medium is transported into the switching channel.

Abstract: Disclosed is a sheet feeder comprising a magazine in which sheets are stacked, a sucker for sucking a sheet stacked in the magazine, a stepping motor for raising the sucker, and a sheet separation click which is so disposed that an edge of the sheet sucked by the sucker comes into contact with the click when the sucker is raised to a specified position. The sucker is raised at a small pitch when the edge of the sucked sheet comes into contact with the sheet separation click, whereby sheets which have been adhering to the sucked topmost sheet separate therefrom and fall.

Abstract: A recording apparatus comprising a magazine for storing a recording material, and a sensor for detecting a quantity of the recording material stored in the magazine. The magazine is movable between an inward position for supplying the recording material to a recording station and a position protruding from the apparatus body. A magazine moving device is provided which, in response to the sensor, moves the magazine from the inward position to the position protruding from the apparatus body.

Abstract: A sheet transporting apparatus, for use in laser beam printers, CRT printers or the like wherein the apparatus transports a photosensitive sheet to an exposure station for forming images thereon. The apparatus includes a guide plate for guiding the sheet to the exposure station and a conveyor belt having levers on its outer surface for pushing the trailing edge of the sheet by movement of the lever along the guide plate. The levers cause the sheet to move initially at a speed V1 and then at a speed V2 which is less than a speed V0 at which the sheet is transported to a station for further processing of the sheet.

Abstract: Between an image forming unit and an automatic developing unit disposed adjacent to the unit, an intermediate chamber having an exhaust device is provided for transferring a photosensitive material from the image forming unit to the developing unit. Even when the vapors of chemical solutions accommodated in the developing unit for development treatment flow into the intermediate chamber through a clearance created in an outlet opening for delivering the material into the developing unit therethrough, the vapors are prevented from flowing into the image forming unit by being temporarily retained in the chamber and released to an exhaust channel.
