Publication number: 20240142008Abstract: An isolation valve includes an isolation valve body, a rotatable member and a connecting member. An outer cylinder section of the rotatable member has an end portion with an increased inner diameter towards an opening that an inner cylinder section of the isolation valve body penetrates through, and has an inwardly facing annular groove on its own inner peripheral surface between the end portion and a female thread of the rotatable member. The inner cylinder section has an outwardly facing annular groove facing the inwardly facing groove on its own outer peripheral surface. The connecting member has a cross section that is sized to fit within the outwardly facing groove. The connecting member is positioned astride the inwardly facing groove and the outwardly facing groove so as to prevent a relative movement between the inner cylinder section and the rotatable member in an axial direction along a rotation axis.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 18, 2023Publication date: May 2, 2024Inventors: Sadanori MATSUI, Takashi KITAGAWA, Yukikazu TERADA

Publication number: 20110074149Abstract: A union nut is installed over a valve body between an outwardly flaring flange on a valve port and the valve itself. The union nut is uniquely characterized by installation threads cut into an inwardly flaring shoulder, and installation threads are also provided on the flange of the port. The shoulder can be screwed onto the flange until the union nut freely rotates about the port. A split ring is installed against a neck on the port, the neck being adjacent the flange, such that the union nut cannot threadedly engage the installation threads. The freely rotating union nut can be tightened into a suitable fitting that is part of a fluid system.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2010Publication date: March 31, 2011Applicant: Matsui Kiki Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Sadanori Matsui, Tatsushi Tsunokawa

Publication number: 20110073201Abstract: A service valve assembly for a tankless water heater incorporates one or more features that provide safer operation and easier installation of a valve assembly. Installation of a valve assembly is facilitated by foreshortening all perpendicularly protruding ports, thereby increasing the rotational freedom during installation. A main valve and a drain valve are intentionally distinguished from each other by providing different port sizes, valve handles and valve shapes that change the overall shape and characteristics of the valve assembly in such a way that accidental opening a drain port becomes much less likely. Installation can further be simplified by using a unique union nut that allows a service valve to be easily connected to an existing tankless water heater.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 28, 2010Publication date: March 31, 2011Applicant: Matsui Kiki Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Sadanori Matsui, Tatsuchi Tsunokawa

Patent number: 6844843Abstract: A signal from CW radar is received, and the received power detected by the CW radar's swinging in all directions is averaged in each direction. Then, the maximum value and the minimum value of the received power are detected for each direction, and the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value is computed. An average power value of obtained power is also computed. On a 2-dimensional plane on which the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value and the average power value are used for coordinate axes, slice processing is performed using a threshold indicated by a line graph or a curve.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 2003Date of Patent: January 18, 2005Assignees: Fujitsu Limited, Fujitsu Ten LimitedInventors: Satoshi Ishii, Yoshikazu Dooi, Sadanori Matsui

Patent number: 6690319Abstract: A scan type radar device capable of detecting a lateral position of a target even if a peak showing the lateral position of the target irregularly fluctuates in the lateral direction as well as reducing the mis-pairing. The former is achievable by changing a reference value of the lateral fluctuation of the target when all the past and present target data fluctuate to an extent exceeding the reference value. The latter is achievable by forecasting a representative peak position at this time in both of up-beat and down-beat from the peak position data at the preceding time and carrying out the past-correspondence grouping of the up-beat and the down-beat at this time in the vicinity of the position of the representative peak forecast this time; the pairing being carried out by using the representative peak calculated by the past-correspondence grouping.Type: GrantFiled: November 7, 2002Date of Patent: February 10, 2004Assignee: Fujitsu Ten LimitedInventors: Sadanori Matsui, Tokio Shinagawa, Masayuki Kishida, Daisaku Ono

Patent number: 6683559Abstract: An unwanted peak occurring due to an antenna sidelobe and an unwanted peak occurring due to a harmonic are eliminated in a radar apparatus. A peak from a target that can cause an unwanted peak is found based on the intensity of the peak, and a search is made for a peak having a predetermined positional relationship with the thus found peak. If such a peak is located, then it is determined whether the peak is a candidate for an unwanted peak, based on the difference between the intensity of the peak and the intensity of the main peak. If both of the paired peaks are determined as being candidates for unwanted peaks, it is determined that the peaks are unwanted peaks.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2002Date of Patent: January 27, 2004Assignee: Fujitsu Ten LimitedInventors: Sadanori Matsui, Hisateru Asanuma

Patent number: 6661370Abstract: The invention detects a ghost occurring due to mispairing, reflections from a wall, or the like, and improves the ability of a radar to track targets when actual relative velocity changes by more than a certain value. If a stationary target is present within a prescribed region centered about a moving target, the stationary target is excluded from output data by determining it as being a target resulting from mispairing due to the detection of guardrail posts or similar structures. Further, a moving target that is expected to collide with an eligible target is also excluded from the output data by determining it as being a target resulting from mispairing due to the detection of a target having many reflecting points. For a moving target showing an unlikely relative velocity, pairing with some other peak is attempted by determining the moving target as being a target resulting from mispairing due to the detection of a plurality of moving targets moving in the same direction.Type: GrantFiled: December 9, 2002Date of Patent: December 9, 2003Assignee: Fujitsu Ten LimitedInventors: Masayuki Kishida, Sadanori Matsui, Yasuhiro Sekiguchi, Tokio Shinagawa, Daisaku Ono
