  • Patent number: 6724521
Abstract: Electrophoresis display devices using charged particles which move in each cell in accordance with the electrophoresis caused by electrodes neighboring the cell. First through third electrodes are used to provide the electrophoresis to the charged particles in a dispersion liquid of each cell. The first and the second electrodes are formed in parallel with each other on a side of a first board and the third electrode is formed on a second board 5 to intersect with the first and the second electrodes. The first electrode may be applied with an initial voltage, a first hold voltage and a rewriting voltage between the initial voltage and the first hold voltage in an order of the first voltage, the rewriting voltage and the first hold voltage. The second electrode may be applied with intermediary voltage between the initial voltage and the rewriting voltage to the first electrode.

  • Patent number: 5641997
Abstract: A semiconductor chip is positioned between encapsulating sheets. The encapsulating sheets each have a surface that is highly adhesive and a surface that is less adhesive. The surface of the encapsulating sheet that is highly adhesive contacts the chip. The surface that is less adhesive contacts a mold. Subsequently, encapsulation is carried out by molding. A soldering resistance can be improved without reducing a mold releasing property.

  • Patent number: 5064696
Abstract: A method for forming a pigment containing film on a work-piece includes the steps of circulating coating liquid containing pigment through a circulation path, and pulverizing the pigment to disperse the pigment in the coating liquid during the circulating step. The method further includes the steps of dipping a work-piece in the coating liquid during the circulating step, and raising the work-piece from the coating liquid. An apparatus for forming a pigment containing film on a work-piece includes a coating tank, having an inflow portion and an overflow portion, for holding coating liquid containing pigment, and a circulation path having one end connected to the inflow portion of the coating tank and the other end connected to the overflow portion of the coating tank, for circulating the coating liquid. In the circulation path, a pulverizing device is arranged for pulverizing the pigment to disperse the pigment in the coating liquid and to cause the coating liquid to flow in the circulation path.
