  • Patent number: 5483219
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide a vehicle alarm signal generation device which can realize the reduction of the consumption of power without unstabilizing the intruder detect operation. The vehicle alarm signal generation device includes a supersonic sensor which comprises a supersonic transmitter and a supersonic receiver. The supersonic transmitter radiates supersonic waves in the interior of a vehicle and the radiated supersonic waves are received by the supersonic receiver. If any person intrudes on the vehicle interior, then there is produced a difference between the frequencies of the radiated and received supersonic waves due to the Doppler effect generated responsive to the movements of the intruder, so that a beat frequency signal corresponding to the frequency difference is included in a signal received by the supersonic receiver. The beat frequency signal is integrated by an integrating circuit and is then converted into a voltage signal.

  • Patent number: 5309743
Abstract: An object of this invention is to provide a door unlocking device adapted unlock a door by transmitting a signal in the air through a signal transmitter, which can unlock the door even when the power source of the signal transmitter, namely, the battery has consumed up. With a door unlocking device, upon insertion of an ignition key into the rotor of a key cylinder, a shutter is opened to operate a shutter switch. Under this condition, the rotor is turned in opposite directions from the neutral position according to a predetermined rotor turning pattern. The rotor turning pattern is discriminated by a rotor-turning-pattern discriminating circuit. Ensuring that the rotor turning pattern is the one predetermined for unlocking the door, the rotor-turning-pattern discriminating circuit activates an electric operating mechanism to cause a lock mechanism to unlock the door.

  • Patent number: 5307658
Abstract: An object of this invention is to provide a key cylinder device which is simple in structure and is able to positively detect the presence or absence of the key. In a key cylinder device, a key cylinder body incorporates a rotor having a key inserting inlet, and a shutter made of a magnetic material is swingably mounted in the rotor to open and close the key inserting inlet, the shutter being urged by a spring to close the key inserting inlet. When the shutter is held closed, the magnetic force of a permanent magnet acts on a normally closed lead switch to hold the switch open. When the shutter is swung open by the key being inserted into the key inserting inlet, it covers the permanent magnet, thus interrupting the action of the magnetic force of the permanent magnet on the lead switch. As a result, the reed switch closes.

  • Patent number: 5138182
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling a power window capable of maintaining an energized state of the motor to move a window glass, detecting a locked-rotor current flowing through the motor when the window glass reaches a limit position, and de-energizing the motor to stop the movement of the window glass when the locked-rotor current becomes larger than a predetermined value. The period of time for energization of the motor is longer than a period of time from a moment at which the "ON" operation of the automatic mode switch is cancelled to a moment at which the window glass reaches the limit position. It is thereby possible to automatically de-energize the motor when the window glass reaches the limit position, even if the locked-rotor current does not become larger than the predetermined value at this time due to the influence of temperatures or other causes.

  • Patent number: 5111010
Abstract: Two leaf springs of substantially identical width which define first and second movable members are superposed on each other at one end and connected together. A movable contact is attached to the thus connected portion. The first movable member has a slot formed in a middle portion thereof. The width of an end portion of the second movable member is set so that the end portion can be inserted in the slot. A supporting member being inserted in the slot has a portion for swingably supporting an edge portion of the slot and another portion for swingably supporting an end portion of the second movable member opposite to the movable contact. The second movable member is curved so that upon application of a operating force to the first movable member the urging direction of the second movable member changes to cause a snap action to thereby selectively bring the movable contact into contact with one of the two fixed contacts.

  • Patent number: 5089715
Abstract: A switch device for making a motor or the like alternate between forward reverse rotation, having a pair of switches and a control circuit. When either one of the switches is activated, the control circuit activates the motor in one or the other direction depending upon which switch is activated. When both switches are activated, the control circuit activates the motor until a desired action or task is completed. Therefore, when the present invention is used in a window glass lifting apparatus of an automobile, three kinds of operations of the window glass can be performed by using a pair of switches: partial upward and partial downward movement and continuous movement down to the fully open state of the window glass.
