    Abstract: The invention provides a heat exchanger, comprising a casing with a structure of a hollow box and a heat transfer unit accommodated in the casing, wherein the heat transfer unit is so arranged that flat plates are alternately folded back in opposite direction along a fold-back line, a first flow passage and a second flow passage are alternately formed in multiple layers between the flat plates, a first opening and a second opening being communicated with the first flow passage are provided on the casing, a third opening and a fourth opening communicated with the second flow passage are provided on the casing, end portions of the flat plates adjacent, as positioned at the end portion of the fold-back line, to the first flow passage and the second flow passage of the heat transfer unit are crushed and adhered, and edges of the end portions are welded together.

    Abstract: A dehumidifier includes a suction unit, a dehumidifying unit having a chiller, a discharge unit having a heat radiator, a refrigerant circulating system, and a heat exchanger. The suction unit sucks humid air into the dehumidifying unit, which cools the humid air and condenses the moisture in the humid air to create dry air. The discharge unit heats and discharges the dry air coming from the dehumidifying unit, and the heat exchanger exchanges heat between the humid air and the dry air coming from the dehumidifying unit. The refrigerant circulating system is used to cool the humid air at the dehumidifying unit and to heat the dry air at the discharge unit. In some embodiments, the heat exchanger includes a heat transfer unit, wherein flat plates are turned back alternately in opposite directions, and a first and second flow passage are prepared alternately in many layers between the flat plates.

The heat transfer unit has flat plates alternately folded back in reverse direction. A first flow passage and a second flow passage are alternately formed in multiple layers between the flat plates. A high temperature fluid inlet and a high temperature fluid outlet in communication with the second flow passage are provided on the front plate side. A low temperature fluid inlet and a low temperature fluid outlet in communication with the first flow passage are provided on the rear plate side. Biasing means applies pressure on the lateral plate sealing member to the end portion of the heat transfer unit and seals the end portions of the first and second flow passages.

    Abstract: A lens shape measuring instrument includes a slide base plate in parallel with a chucking shaft of an eyeglass lens, a flat contactor arranged on a first measuring bar disposed on a first rotating shaft, and a V-shaped contactor disposed on a second measuring bar disposed on a second rotating shaft, so that the flat contactor and the V-shaped contactor can be brought into contact with the peripheral surface of the eyeglass lens at the same time. The thickness center of the peripheral surface of the eyeglass lens can be detected by detecting positional change of the slide base plate, and the thickness of the peripheral surface of the eyeglass lens can be detected by rotation difference between the first rotating shaft and the second rotating shaft corresponding to the positional change and from shape of the V-shaped contactor.
