  • Patent number: 6103347
Abstract: An objective of the present invention is to provide a magnetic display panel capable of writing on both face and rear surfaces. A magnetic display panel, comprising a face substrate, a rear substrate, cell walls for forming a cell, for binding the face substrate and the rear substrate and for enclosing a dispersion liquid including a magnetic particle, wherein the cell walls having U-shaped cross sections are formed by bending and standing partially one or both of the face substrate and the rear substrate to almost 90 degrees, wherein a clearance of the U-shaped cross sections in each cell wall has an open angle of 0 to 20 degrees, wherein a base portion clearance of the U-shaped cross section is 0.1 mm to 1.0 mm, and wherein a top portion clearance of the U-shaped cross section is 0 to 1.0 mm.

  • Patent number: 4446993
Abstract: Apparatus for very accurately dispensing a preselected amount of liquid in a drop-by-drop fashion. The liquid is peristaltically pumped intermittently from a reservoir to a discharge pipe by the successive squeezing and releasing of an elastic tube carrying the liquid and connected to the discharge pipe. The discharge pipe has a discharge port with a face, the face being perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the discharge pipe. The outer diameter of the discharge pipe at the discharge port is less than or equal to twice the inner diameter of the discharge pipe at the discharge port. The preselected amount of the liquid that is dispensed in a drop-by-drop fashion from the discharge port satisfies the following conditions:(1) V=Q.times.M.times.C(2) 50 mg.gtoreq.Q(3) 0.5 seconds.ltoreq.M(4) 3/seconds.gtoreq.C(5) 1.5.ltoreq.M.times.Cwherein:V is the weight of the produced liquid drop,Q is the feed quantity of said liquid,M is the time interval between successive drops, andC is the cycle of the pump.

  • Patent number: 4365728
Abstract: A liquid discharge device using a peristaltic pump having a depression and delivery system including an elastic tube for introducing compressed air into a liquid reservoir to be maintained in a selective pressurized state. A motor drive circuit is adjusted to vary motor rotation to sequentially squeeze and release one end of the elastic tube thereby varying the rate of pressurization in the reservoir.

  • Patent number: 4231707
Abstract: A fluid supplying device having a peristaltic pump with a depression and delivery system that includes an elastic tube (17) for receiving fluid and an assembly of depressing members (15) for alternately constricting and relaxing the elastic tube. A drive shaft (10) connects the depression and delivery systems to an electric motor (24). A rotary member (21) is provided on the drive shaft to rotate with the drive shaft and a plurality of discharge-amount transmitting devices (22) are provided on the rotary member in such a manner that the distances between the discharge-amount transmitting devices can be changed as desired. A detector (23) is disposed at the position of passage of the discharge-amount transmitting devices for detecting the discharge-amount transmitting devices and a switch (40) is connected between the detector and the electric motor to deenergize the electric motor.
