  • Patent number: 8671302
Abstract: Methods and systems for operating a wireless clock system for multimedia datastream transmission and display. Source clock frames are compared with a reference clock frames and the clock difference are transmitted to a wireless clock receiver which also receives the same reference clock frames. Source clock frames are re-constructed using the reference clock frames, clock difference information and the receiver's local clock system.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 11, 2008
Date of Patent: March 11, 2014
    Assignee: Picongen Wireless, Inc.
Inventors: Sai Manapragada, Alvin Dale Kluesing

  • Publication number: 20090002556
Abstract: A novel method, device and system for recovering missing data packets during data transmission. Data packets are tagged with corresponding frame index and packet indexes. Received data packets are buffered and plurality of frames are constructed. Missing data packets are identified either by packet indexing or by frame indexing or both. Corresponding missing pixels in a constructed frame are estimated by averaging surrounding pixels of current frame, selected previous frames and/or selected next frames. Missing pixels are replaced with the estimated values by inserting the created data packets of the pixel value back into the data stream.

  • Publication number: 20080002784
Abstract: Systems and methods for transmitting information at very high data rates through narrowband communication channels are provided. The systems and methods involve modulating a message signal with a novel return-to-zero, abrupt phase modulation technique and filtering the modulated signal with a sophisticated high-precision digital filter. The digital filter is designed based on fractal modeling of the frequency spectrum of the modulated signal. The systems and methods of the present invention enable data rates exceeding 5 Mbps to be delivered through frequency channels as narrow as 50 KHz under a variety of channel conditions.
