Abstract: A grid assembly for use with an imaging cassette. The grid assembly includes an anti-scatter grid having a length and opposing first and second ends; first and second transport members disposed proximate the first and second ends, respectively, of the grid; at least one first roller disposed at the first end of the grid; at least one second roller disposed at the second end of the grid; and a pair of support members disposed substantially perpendicular to the length and proximate the opposing ends of the grid in spaced relationship to form a slot having an opening proximate one side of the grid adapted to removably slidably receive the imaging cassette adjacent the grid.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for supporting an object from a channel. The apparatus is comprised of a channel clip, formed of a flexible material, whose length is much greater than its width and which is adapted to be applied to a channel. The channel clip includes a receiving loop and a pair of arms extending from the respective sides of the loop. The arms extend in the same direction and are spaced from each other. A retaining loop extends from each arm. The retaining loops lie in essentially parallel planes, and the outer perimeter of the retaining loops conforms generally in shape to a surface which defines the channel. The channel clip is used to support an object from a channel by first inserting the object into the receiving loop. The receiving loops are then pressed together and aligned such that planes within which the receiving loops lie are parallel with the channel. The retaining loops are inserted into the channel after which the channel clip is rotated about 90.degree.

Abstract: A mounting system is provided for the development apparatus of the development station of an electrostatographic reproduction apparatus such as a copier or printer. The system includes a dual axis automatic lifting mechanism that includes a lever assembly displaceable along the vertical and horizontal axes, and a swivellable spring and plunger assembly which imparts a generally diagonal displacement force to the lever assembly.

Abstract: A cleaning apparatus which is loadable against a surface to be cleaned has a L-shaped self-loading blade, a holding member, and supporting members including a retaining pin and a spring member. The cleaning blade includes a base section and a cleaning section which can move relative to each other from unloaded positions to loaded positions.

Abstract: In electrographic apparatus a magnetic brush development station has a housing with a sump for holding a supply of developer material, and a magnetic brush that applies developer material from the sump to a latent image on a photoconductor. A rotatable transport roller is located between the sump and the magnetic brush. A magnet in the roller attracts developer material from the sump to the roller so that rotation of the roller can move the material toward the magnetic brush. A gating and metering member in the form of a cylindrical tube is positioned around the roller and spaced from it. The tube has two elongate, spaced slots, and the tube is rotatable between first and second positions. When the tube is in one of its positions developer material from the sump can pass through one of the slots to the roller and be transported to the other slot where it is metered to the magnetic brush.
