  • Patent number: 9386392
Abstract: An intermediary wireless device that wirelessly communicates media content. The intermediary wireless device includes a first wireless I/O interface configured to communicate with a media content source device using a first wireless protocol, a second wireless I/O interface configured to communicate with at least one media presentation device using a second wireless protocol, and control circuitry. The control circuitry is coupled to the first wireless I/O interface and to the second wireless I/O interface and configured to receive media data from the first wireless I/O interface, modify control information associated with the media data, and provide the media data with the modified control information to the at least one media presentation device through the second wireless I/O interface. A wireless media presentation device is also provided.

  • Patent number: 8837763
Abstract: An inertially balanced miniature passive radiator full-range loudspeaker system is disclosed. In one embodiment the speaker system is a two-way system with low and high frequency components, where the low-frequency component is comprised of one active transducer and two passive radiators and the frequency range for this component is not outside of 10 Hz to 500 Hz. The low and high frequency components are individually optimized for operation in low and high frequency ranges respectively. By placing the passive radiators on opposing sides of an enclosure of the speaker system, the momentum generated by the motion of each of the passive radiators substantially cancels when the passive radiators are in phase. A passive radiators may be fitted with a voice-coil electrically connected to a corresponding voice-coil on the other passive radiator in a pair such that the generated back EMF resists out of phase motion of the passive radiators.

  • Publication number: 20100196558
Abstract: A combination package, e.g., (10) for both an ingestible product, such as a medication, e.g., (12) and a beverage, e.g., (14), such as water, is of a unitary single-use design. The medication and the beverage, of which only a small amount is provided, can be stored in separate sealed cavities defined by the package. The combination package can be designed so as to be easily and conveniently hung from a display rack in a store. A consumer can open the package to gain access to each cavity and can then orally consume the medication and then wash it down with the beverage.

  • Patent number: 7464578
Abstract: A hand-held, battery-powered, hydraulically-actuated tool including a frame forming a tool longitudinal axis; a battery offset from the tool longitudinal axis; and located along the tool longitudinal axis a motor connected to the battery; a hydraulic fluid pump connected to the motor, such as by a transmission; a ram movably connected to the frame and adapted to be moved relative to the frame by hydraulic fluid pumped by the hydraulic fluid pump; and a working head adapted to be actuated by the ram. The tool includes a main section situated in an in-line configuration along the tool longitudinal axis. A center longitudinal axis of the battery is offset from the tool longitudinal axis.
