  • Publication number: 20240068388
Abstract: A diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) nozzle includes a first conduit, an outlet of the first conduit defining an inlet of a first mixing chamber; and a second conduit disposed around the first conduit, an outer surface of the first conduit and an inner surface of the second conduit defining a second flow path therebetween. A flow area of the second flow path decreases from an inlet of the second flow path to a throat, and increases from the throat to an outlet of the second flow path. The inner surface of the second conduit defines a peripheral wall of the first mixing chamber, and a peripheral wall of a second mixing chamber, the first flow path and the second flow path being in fluid communication with the second mixing chamber via the first mixing chamber.

  • Patent number: 11614010
Abstract: A panel assembly includes a panel member, a frame member, and at least one first bar member, and at least one second bar member. The at least one first bar member and the at least one second bar member divide the panel member into a plurality of first areas defining a first height and a first width. The panel assembly also includes a plurality of support arrangements for dividing each first area into a plurality of second areas. Each support arrangement includes a first support member defining a first length such that the first width defined by the first area is greater than the first length. Each support arrangement also includes a second support member defining a second length such that the first height defined by the first area is greater than the second length.

  • Publication number: 20220364490
Abstract: An injector for a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) delivery system includes a first conduit extending along a longitudinal direction; a second conduit extending along the longitudinal direction and disposed within the first conduit; a nozzle tip having a side wall and an end wall; and a shell surrounding the first conduit and being spaced apart from the first conduit along a radial direction. The side wall has a thickness extending along the radial direction from an external surface of the nozzle tip to an inner surface of the second conduit. The end wall defines an outlet flow passage therethrough, and the outlet flow passage is in fluid communication with the first conduit and the second conduit via a chamber defined by an internal surface of the nozzle tip.

  • Publication number: 20220099121
Abstract: A panel assembly includes a panel member having a mounting side and at least one elongated member. The at least one elongated member includes a mounting edge, a second edge opposite the mounting edge of the at least one elongated member, and a plurality of first spaced apart openings. The panel assembly further includes at least one elongated intersecting member. The at least one elongated intersecting member includes a mounting edge, a second edge opposite the mounting edge of the at least one elongated intersecting member, and a plurality of second spaced apart openings. Further, one of the at least one elongated member and the at least one elongated intersecting member includes at least one slot, the at least one elongated member and the at least one elongated intersecting member intersecting at the at least one slot.
