  • Publication number: 20240146758
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer program are disclosed. The method may be performed by one or more processors and may comprise receiving first data representing an infrastructure of a computer network, the first data comprising an indication of hosts which form at least part of the computer network and one or more software resources on respective hosts. The method may also comprise receiving second data from a vulnerability scanning software, the second data comprising an indication of one or more vulnerabilities detected in the one or more software resources provided on at least some of the hosts of the computer network. Using a combination of the first data and the second data, output data may be generated representing a risk profile of the computer network infrastructure, the output data indicating one or more subsets of hosts, determined as being at risk of being affected by the detected vulnerabilities by virtue of the software resources they provide for output on a user interface.

  • Publication number: 20080145097
Abstract: An activation mechanism for a shutter (12) of a process cartridge has a spacer arm (18) with a contact projection (34); a lever arm (20) with a contact tab (38); biasing means (26) for biasing the shutter (12) in a closed position; and biasing means (46 for biasing the lever arm (209 toward the contact projection (34). When force is applied to a first side (56) of the contact tab (38), the lever arm (20) moves in a first direction (A), engaging the contact projection (34) of the spacer arm (18) and thus moving the shutter (12) to an open position. If a force is applied to the opposite side (58) of the contact tab (38) (eg, during incorrect insertion of the process cartridge), the lever arm (20) rotates in a second direction (B), and may move into a recess (32) of the spacer arm (18).

  • Publication number: 20080145096
Abstract: A two-part construction cartridge 10 comprising a first part 18 having first alignment means 28; a second part 16 having second alignment means 22; a connecting pin 32; and a guiding means 36 forming part of the first alignment means 28. The first alignment means 28 and second alignment means 22 each have an aperture 26, 30 provided therein to securely receive the connecting pin 32 when properly aligned. In this manner, the first unit 18 is connected with the second unit 16. When the connecting pin 32 is forced in the direction of the guiding means 36, upon exiting the apertures 26, 30 the connecting pin 32 is guided by the guiding means 36 to a position where the connecting pin 32 can be recovered for future re-use.

  • Publication number: 20080138003
Abstract: A support member 10 for a rotatable element 42 comprising at least two pairs of ribs 30, 32 attached to opposing sides 22 of the support member 10, each pair of ribs 30, 32 adapted to receive guide walls 38 of a housing for the rotatable element 42 tightly therein; a supporting end 18 between the opposing sides 22 into which the rotatable element 42 can be received and supported along its axial length; and a retaining end 20 between the opposing sides 22, and opposite the supporting end 18, adapted to restrict axial movement of the rotatable element 42 when received within the supporting end 18.

  • Publication number: 20080124156
Abstract: A toner detection window cleaning apparatus 100 comprising a cleaning arm 104 having a first protruding arm 118a and a second protruding arm 118b substantially opposite the first protruding arm 118a, the first protruding arm having a radial through slot 120 provided therein and the second protruding arm 118b having a cleaning member 122 attached thereto; a rotatable shaft 20 having at least a portion thereof adapted to be received in, and extend through, a portion of the cleaning arm 104; and a flange 106 integrally formed with the rotatable shaft 20, the flange 106 having a pin 108 extending therefrom in a direction substantially parallel to the rotatable shaft 20, where, the pin 108 is received within the radial through slot 120 and where, when the toner detection window cleaning apparatus 100 is inserted into a cartridge having a toner detection window, the cleaning member 122 scrapes against at least a substantial portion of the toner detection window during at least part of one rotation of the rotatable

  • Publication number: 20080121169
Abstract: A usage indicator 12 for a process cartridge 10 comprising a reflective tab 18; a shutter 26 connected to a rotatable mounting platform 20; and engaging means 38 attached to the rotatable mounting platform 20. In its initial state, the shutter 26 covers the reflective tab 18 in such a manner as to prevent the reflective tab 18 from reflecting light emitted by an external light sensing system. At the same time, the engaging means 38 engages a gear in a gear train 14 of the process cartridge 10. During first operation of the gear train 14 the gear train 14 engages the engaging means 38 to rotate the rotatable mounting platform 20 and thereby uncover at least a portion of the reflective tab 18 able to reflect light emitted by the external light sensing system. The rotation of the mounting platform 20 continues until the engaging means 38 no longer engages the gear train 14.

  • Publication number: 20060165433
Abstract: A bearing is provided at each longitudinal end of the cartridge frame. The bearing has mounting apertures for mounting the developing roller and regulating blade, and for maintaining a predetermined spacing between the developing roller and the regulating blade. The bearing is moveable relative to the cartridge frame to allow relative movement between the developing roller and photosensitive drum. A coil spring is also provided to bias the bearing toward the drum to create the required gap between the developing roller and drum. The gap is maintained by spacers mounted on the longitudinal ends of the developing roller. In addition, an abutting portion is provided on the bearing and is engageable with a stop portion on the cartridge frame to limit movement of the bearing toward the operative position photosensitive member.
