  • Publication number: 20210399503
Abstract: A high current contact device for transmitting electric energy includes a contact housing, a first contact element arranged in the contact housing, the first contact element extends at least in portions along a mating axis, and a temperature measuring device having a circuit carrier with a first temperature sensor and a first heat conducting path. The first temperature sensor is arranged on the circuit carrier and the circuit carrier is arranged laterally adjacent to the first contact element. The first heat conducting path has a first heat conducting element that is elastic and heat conductive with a contact surface. The contact surface abuts against a first outer circumferential side of the first contact element. The first heat conducting element thermally couples the first contact element to the first temperature sensor. The first temperature sensor measures a temperature of the first contact element.

  • Patent number: 9399596
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for bonding multiple wafers. An example system may include a sealable chamber with a first and second substantially vertical post positioned inside of the sealable chamber. The system may also include a first latch connected to the first post via a first pin, wherein the first pin allows the first latch to rotate about the first pin. The system may also include a second latch similarly configured to the first latch. The system may also include a base plate positioned between the first and second posts. The base plate is arranged such that when a first wafer rests on the base plate and a second wafer rests on the first and second latches, moving the base plate from a first position to a second position causes a top surface of the first wafer to contact a bottom surface of the second wafer.

  • Publication number: 20130000695
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods and apparatus for increasing the efficiency of a photovoltaic module. In one aspect, an apparatus includes an array of photovoltaic cells. One or more reflective surfaces can be provided along the edges of the array, between the edges of the array and the frame. The reflective surfaces can extend in a direction from the back of the array toward the front of the array so as to reflect light exiting the first and second edges of the array back into the array through the first and second edges. The reflective surface can be convex and/or can be disposed at one or more angles with respect to the array. The angles can be selected based on a selected geographical latitude and a corresponding selected orientation of the array relative to the sun.

  • Patent number: 6516416
Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for controlling access to computer resources using an untrusted network. The system preferably uses a hardware key connected to each subscriber client computer and adds software to the subscriber client computer and to the existing server computer. A clearinghouse is provided to store client and server identification data, including demographic data, including URL data, usage data and billing information. The clearinghouse authenticates the subscriber and server computers before an operating session occurs. For every new client session, a login mechanism requires the client computer to supply appropriate identification data, including a digital identification generated by the hardware key. The login parameters are verified by the clearinghouse and a session is then started. The system is adapted to protect preselected content from being printed or copied by a client using a web browser.
