  • Patent number: 11989661
Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods update rules engines in a distributed computer system with new rules in a lightweight, non-intrusive, real-time manner. Rules engines are subscribed to a pub/sub service for new rules pertaining to a topic. A rules manager publishes a new rule to the pub/sub service with an associated topic. The rules engines download the new rule and store the new rule in-memory for execution without downtime.

  • Publication number: 20240104083
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for data anomaly detection. A variable profile is generated for each variable in source data. Then, the variable profiles are provided to each of a plurality of machine learning models. Next, it is determined, with each of the plurality of machine learning models, whether each variable profile is anomalous. The determination, from each of the plurality of machine learning models, whether each variable profile is anomalous is provided to an ensemble model. The ensemble model then generates a final determination whether each variable profile is anomalous. The final determination is then reported to an analysis service.

  • Patent number: 11921787
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for organizing communications of multiple communication services. Specifically, techniques are described for organizing data according to detected identities represented aggregate accounts across multiple communication services, as opposed to merely on the basis of accounts on such services. An identity-aware data management system is disclosed that can generate, on the basis of communications of a first party among multiple communication services, a reduced connection graph of the first party. The reduced connection graph of the first party can reflect second parties with whom the first party has communicated, each second party representing an aggregation of multiple accounts of a second party across communication services. The identity-aware data management system may then enable the first party to search, filter, or organize communications according to the reduced connection graph.

  • Publication number: 20210361177
Abstract: Non-invasive blood pressure monitoring systems and methods provide continuous, “beat-to-beat” measures of blood pressure without the need for an inflatable cuff, and/or without the need for calibration of the system or method for a particular subject using a separate blood pressure measurement system. Embodiments include various wrist-worn blood pressure monitoring devices adapted to be worn on the wrist comfortably and obtain a blood pressure measurement of the radial artery that traverses the wrist. Other implementations are adapted to measure blood pressure in a variety of other blood vessels in the body, such as the carotid artery and the templar artery, to name just two of many examples. This document describes additional designs of micro-motion sensing systems for use in such non-invasive blood pressure monitoring systems and methods.

  • Patent number: 10791218
Abstract: A communication session (e.g., voice or video) is established between a first party and a second party. The communication session is placed on hold or mute by the second party. While the first party is on hold or mute, an event associated with the second party is detected. For example, the second party calls a third party. In response to detecting the event associated with the second party, a progress update message is sent to first party on hold or mute. For example, the progress update message may be a voice message that states the second party (e.g., the contact center agent) is talking to a third party to resolve an issue of the first party. By sending the progress update message, the first party is apprised of the second party's progress in assisting the first party.

  • Patent number: 8381604
Abstract: An intelligent sootblower that may be configured as a modification to an existing sootblower or a specially constructed sootblower that, in addition to its normal soot blowing functions, has the capability to measure the flue gas, lance tube, and/or cleaning fluid temperatures. One or more thermocouples or other temperature measuring devices are carried by the sootblower lance tube that is inserted into the boiler. This allows for the temperature of the flue gas, lance tube, and cleaning fluid to be measured as the sootblower lance tube is inserted into and retracted from the boiler. Multiple temperature measuring devices may be located on the sootblower lance to measure the temperature across heat transfer surfaces and at different locations along the lance tube. A data transfer device transmits the temperature measurements from the rotating thermocouple to a non-rotating data acquisition unit for use in boiler cleaning and other operations.

  • Patent number: 7251683
Abstract: An information handling system is disclosed including a plurality of information works, at least one application, and a reverse cross-reference control subsystem. Each information work includes information, and cross-references can be between information in the respective information work. The reverse cross-reference control subsystem, in response to a user initiating use of a cross-reference, determines whether the cross-reference is associated with the at least one application, and, if so, initiates processing the application. The system, in another aspect, includes a workflow flow chart associated with an information work and a control module that initiate usage by a user of the associated workflow flow chart in response to a request therefor from the user while the user is utilizing the respective information work.

  • Patent number: 7136768
Abstract: A method and system for performing reliability analysis of disk drive failure mechanisms is provided. The information for performing the analysis is obtained in accordance with the invention from a database generated from identification information stored about individual drives, and drive families, that are deployed in the field. An error database stores error codes that are issued by a disk drive upon a particular event. These error codes are reported to a storage system administrator and recorded in the error database. The disk drive information and the error codes are mapped, and error codes are translated into failure mechanisms for a particular drive family. An analysis is performed whereby a hazard rate plot is provided for either all failure indicators or selected failure indicators or subpopulations for a particular drive family over a given time.
