The system further can include a query interface to the persistent human-to-human conversational tool. Finally, the system can include one or more collaborative tools communicatively linked to the persistent human-to-human conversational tool.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to customer relationship management and provide a method, system and computer program product for on-demand customer satisfaction measurement. In one embodiment of the invention, an on-demand customer satisfaction measurement method can include matching a target profile to a usage profile to determine whether an associated end user is to receive an abbreviated survey, forwarding the abbreviated survey to the end user only if the target profile and usage profile match, and collecting survey results for the abbreviated survey. The method further can include monitoring application usage for the end user in an end user client computing device, constructing the usage profile based upon the monitored application usage, and storing the usage profile in the client computing device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to managing the scatter and flood problem of the activity-centric computing environment and provide a method, system and computer program product for sorting and filtering activities in an activity-centric computing environment. In one embodiment of the invention, a method for filtering and sorting activity objects in an activity-centric computing environment can include generating at least one activity thread of hierarchically arranged activity objects, selecting at least one filtering criterion for the activity objects, and filtering the activity objects in the activity threads. Additionally, a filtered view of the activity objects can be generated in an activity map in the activity-centric computing environment.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to Wiki page processing and provide a novel and non-obvious method, system and computer program product for multi-type field processing in a Wiki page. In one embodiment of the invention, a data processing system configured to serve Wiki pages, the data processing system can be provided. The system can include a content host configured with a Wiki server, and multi-field editing logic coupled to the Wiki server. The multi-field editing logic can include program code enabled to edit at least two different fields in a Wiki page. Moreover, each of the different fields can have correspondingly different field types wherein one of the field types is a dynamic access control list (ACL) limited editable field.

Abstract: Described are a system and method for managing online communications by a user who participates in an awareness service system. A first awareness state associated with the user is published to a first participant of the awareness service system, while a second different awareness state associated with the user is published to a second participant of the awareness service system. Each published awareness state is based on a collaborative relationship between the user and the participant to which that awareness state is published.

Abstract: A method, system and apparatus for creating and managing an activity in a collaborative environment. In a preferred aspect of the present invention, a unified activity manager for use in a collaborative environment can include an activity list including a hierarchical listing of activities. Each of the activities can include at least one task. The unified activity manager further can include an activity view including a rendering of properties associated with a selected activity in the activity view. Finally, the unified activity manager yet further can include a persons and roles view including at least a listing of collaborators available for association with the selected activity in the activity view.

Abstract: Described is a method for visualization of attributes of workflow weblogs. A group of workflow weblogs is searched to find weblogs that have an attribute that satisfies a search condition. The group of workflow weblogs can include instantiations of a single workflow. Attributes are displayed for each of the weblogs found by the search. An attribute is displayed using a modified graphical parameter if the attribute satisfies a predefined condition for the attribute type. The modified graphical parameter can include modified text or a modified graphical structure.

Abstract: A method and system for an awareness service is provided. One or more collaborative contexts can be set for a first user within a set of users using the awareness service. One or more subsets of users can be defined within the set of users corresponding to the one or more collaborative contexts, respectively. Furthermore, a level of availability can be defined for the first user with respect to each of the subset of users. Next, an online status can be published on the awareness service for the first user. The online status can display an availability message to a second user. And, the availability message can have the highest level of availability selected from a group consisting of every level of availability defined for the first user with respect to every subset of users that includes the second user.

Abstract: Described is a method for tracking the status of a workflow. Each step of the workflow is performed by one or more members of the workflow and each member has at least one workflow role. A weblog is generated to track an instance of the workflow and members are assigned to the weblog. An entry is posted in the weblog to indicate the performance of a workflow action, such as the completion of a workflow step or the execution of a workflow exception. The entry can be made directly into the weblog or may be in response to an entry made in a personal weblog. A workflow feed can be provided to an aggregator to permit monitoring of the workflow along with other workflows and weblog entries. Additionally, the viewing of weblog entries can be restricted to a predetermined group of users.

Abstract: Described is a method for controlling a user's access and viewing rights to a weblog used to track the status of a workflow based on one or more roles or responsibilities of the user in the workflow. Advantageously, the workflow is not required to change when workflow members leave their assigned roles or are unable to perform their workflow tasks. Instead, new members are assigned to the roles and access and viewing rights are changed accordingly. Optionally, a person responsible for a workflow instance can grant access and viewing rights for the particular workflow to an individual who is not a member of the workflow.
