Abstract: In electronic financial transactions a receiver, or targeted recipient of funds, provides account information to a transmitter, or sender of funds. The transmitter initiates a push of funds from a transmitter funding source to the receiver's funding source processor. In some embodiments the receiver provides a payment card, similar to a credit card, which is read by an electronic device of the transmitter, such as a smart phone. In some embodiments, the receiver provides the account information by way of a bar code, such as a QR code, which is scanned and read by the transmitter's electronic device.

Abstract: A mobile application to conduct an auction based on physical presence is provided. The mobile application may be provided by a system comprising one or more modules. A notification module may identify an item to be sold at an auction. If a pre-auction window time period has arrived, the notification module may transmit auction notification messages to a plurality of client devices located within a predefined geographical area. A bidding module may conduct the auction by providing an auction interface to the client devices within the predefined geographical area. The auction interface includes an option to bid on the item. A completion module may transmit a confirmation to a winning auction participant.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method may include parsing, at a first device, source code of a first webpage of a first web site and obtaining, from the source code, an identifier of and a first value of a characteristic of a product on the first webpage. The method may also include directing transmission of the identifier, characteristic, and first value to a second device and directing a search of a database for the identifier with respect to the characteristic to obtain a second value of the characteristic of the product that is included on a second webpage of a second website. The method may further include comparing the second value and the first value, directing transmission of an indication of the second value from the second device to a third device, and presenting, by way of the third device, a notification concerning the second value of the characteristic of the product.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for updating stored item data using a remote computing system are presented. In example embodiments, a first user selection of a representation of an item accessible from a first remote computing system is received at a client device while the client device is in electronic communication with the first remote computing system via a network. Based on the first user selection, first item data describing the selected item is retrieved from the first remote computing system via the network, and the first item data is stored in a data storage system residing on the client device. After the storing of the first item data, second item data for the selected item is retrieved from a second remote computing system via the network, and the stored first item data is updated based on at least a portion of the retrieved second item data.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for an electronic commerce file system are provided. In example embodiments, a selection of an item contained in a folder of an electronic commerce file system is received. Abstract: In various embodiments, a system and method for facilitating transactions using a badge are provided. In example embodiments, codes for a badge to be displayed on a web page of a web site are generated. The codes for the badge are embedded in the web page prior to an occurrence of an event external to the web site. Abstract: Systems, methods and media are proposed for user intent tracking streams. One example embodiment relates to a system that comprises an identification module to identify a plurality of aspects of contextual or personal information relating to a user, and an analysis module to analyze the plurality of aspects of contextual or personal information to identify user intent or a likelihood relating to a pre-determined action. The system further comprises a correlation module to correlate the user intent or likelihood with at least a sub-set of the analyzed aspects of contextual or personal information to identify an intent tracking stream for the user, the intent tracking stream based on the correlated sub-set, and a tracking module to track the intent tracking stream as a user identifier or a predictor of the pre-determined action.

The selection of the sub-area may indicate a request to perform an action that pertains to the content of the video. The action is identified based on the selection of the sub-area. Abstract: A system, computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and computer-implemented method for correcting an interruption to an electronic commerce session. The electronic commerce session of a user is monitored and a change in connectivity occurring during the electronic commerce session of a user is detected. The change in connectivity may introduce a delay to the electronic commerce session. In response to detecting the change in connectivity, an alternate communication mode to continue the electronic commerce session is selected. Completion of the electronic commerce session is facilitated using the selected alternate communication mode.
