Abstract: A dust container of an upright type vacuum cleaner includes a circular cover having a suction port and an exhaust port, a guide member attached to a lower surface of the cover to guide an air flow, a filter attached to a lower surface of the guide member, and a cylindrical container body provided to the lower surface of the cover to receive the guide member and the filter. The guide member guides air induced into the dust container through a suction port to spirally rotate within the container body. A supporting member positioned within the container body supports the filter such that the filter supports the cover.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a handy cleaner-integrated vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner includes a main body having a body inlet, a body outlet and a mounting part, and accommodating a motor assembly to induce air into the main body through the body inlet and then to discharge the air through the body outlet, a dust container mounted on the mounting part to filter foreign matter from air, a driving unit mounted on the mounting part and coupled to the dust container to generate a suction force in the dust container when the dust container is detached from the main body, and a power supply device to supply electrical power to the driving unit. The vacuum cleaner allows vacuum cleaning without a separate handy cleaner even in a narrow space, and provides an improved battery-mounting structure to allow convenient recharge and replacement of the battery, and a convenient repair.

The handy cleaner includes a dust container having an intake port and an exhaust port to allow circulation of air therethrough and including a filter disposed in the dust container to separate foreign matter from the air, and a driving unit detachably mounted to the dust container to generate suction force in the dust container and including a suction duct communicated with the intake port and an exhaust opening communicated with the exhaust port.

Abstract: Disclosed is a cord winder for a vacuum cleaner which is easily operated and reduces the volume of the vacuum cleaner. The cord winder has a reel for winding the power cord thereon, an actuator rod formed integrally with a button, and a stopper rod with a stopper wheel guided horizontally along a guide channel by the actuator rod, thereby braking the rotation of the reel. When the user presses the button, the actuator rod goes downward. Then, the inclined surface of the actuator rod slides along the inclined surface of the stopper rod, while pushing the stopper rod leftward, and thereby releasing the rigid contact between the stopper wheel and the reel.
