Abstract: A substrate for a flexible display is disclosed. The substrate has a film stress range that does not affect an electronic device such as a thin film transistor, and includes a barrier layer having excellent oxygen and moisture blocking characteristics, and a method of manufacturing the substrate. The substrate includes; a plastic substrate having a glass transition temperature from about 350° C. to about 500° C.; and a barrier layer disposed on the plastic substrate, having a inti layer structure, wherein at least one silicon oxide layer and at least one silicon nitride layer are alternately stacked on each other, and having a film stress from about ?200 MPa to about 200 MPa due to the at least one silicon oxide layer and the at least one silicon nitride layer.

Abstract: A front panel assembly of a microwave oven which can improve the appearance and strength of the oven and a method for assembling the same are disclosed. The assembly includes a front panel frame and a reinforcement plate attached to the front panel frame and made of a metal such as stainless steel or synthetic resin. The assembly is assembled to a door frame or a front panel section of the oven. The front panel frame is formed with a recess into which the reinforcement plate is attached. The reinforcement plate is attached to the recess by using a double-sided adhesive tape or by a heat-treatment. The welding lines and non-homogeneous colors formed at the door frame and the front panel frame can be hidden and the strength of the oven increases.

Abstract: A microwave oven having a heater apparatus has an upper heater installed to an upper portion of a cooking chamber for transmitting heat toward the center of the cooking chamber. A bracket is fixed to a side plate of the cooking chamber and has a pair of lugs spaced apart from each other by roughly 60.degree. along the swinging direction of the upper heater. A bushing is fitted into the bracket to be rotatable therein, and is pierced with the upper heater along the rotating shaft line. A guiding plate formed with a groove is fixed to the bushing. A lower heater is installed to a bottom plate of the cooking chamber to be shaped as an alphabet "U," and a turntable is coated with a ceramic. Thus, the swinging angle of the upper heater is controlled to adjust a distance from food, and the upper plate of the cooking chamber is cleaned by easily swinging the upper heater. The lower heater bakes the lower side of food to consistently cook the food.
