  • Publication number: 20080164462
Abstract: A light emitting device includes: a first substrate; a second substrate; a light emitting unit interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a sealing material bonding the first substrate to the second substrate and sealing the light emitting unit. The sealing material comprises V+4. In addition, a glass frit, a composition for forming a sealing material, and a method of manufacturing a light emitting device using the composition for forming a sealing material are provided to obtain the light emitting device. The sealing material of the light emitting device can be easily formed by coating and irradiation of electro-magnetic waves, so that manufacturing costs are low and deterioration of the light emitting unit occurring when sealing material is formed can be substantially prevented. The sealing material has good sealing properties and thus a light emitting device including the sealing material has a long lifetime.

  • Publication number: 20080138653
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of manufacturing the organic light emitting display apparatus. The method includes preparing a substrate and placing a mask over the substrate. A frit paste composition is disposed on the mask which has a patterned opening. The frit paste composition is pressed to land on the substrate to form a frit paste structure. The frit paste structure is pre-sintered. Another substrate on which an array of pixels is formed is arranged to oppose the substrate on which the frit structure is formed, and then the substrates are coupled with the frit structure.

  • Publication number: 20070170860
Abstract: Disclosed is an organic light-emitting display device in which a substrate and an encapsulation substrate are joined by a frit and a reinforcing structure. The first substrate has a pixel region in which an organic light-emitting diode is formed, and a non-pixel region formed outside the pixel region. The second substrate is attached the first substrate by the frit. A bracket is joined with substrates by the reinforcing structure. A curable material is applied to inside the frame, moves between the first and second substrates, and then cured to form the reinforcing structure.

  • Publication number: 20060166113
Abstract: A photosensitive paste composition for forming a black layer on top of plasma display panel (PDP) barrier ribs includes black pigment nanoparticles for contrast enhancement and a cyclic acid anhydride for fundamentally preventing the gelation of the paste composition. The photosensitive paste composition prevents electrical or optical crosstalk between adjacent discharge cells to achieve better contrast. The fundamental prevention of the gelation of the paste composition permits the paste composition to have good storage stability.

  • Publication number: 20050287472
Abstract: A photosensitive paste composition is provided. The photosensitive paste composition contains conductive powder, an inorganic binder, and an organic vehicle, wherein, assuming that 10% by weight of the particles consisting the conductive powder have a diameter less than D10 and 90% by weight of the particles have a diameter greater than D90, a difference between D10 and D90 is about 2.0 ?m or less. The photosensitive paste composition solves problems arising with use of conductive powder having a broad particle diameter distribution and satisfy requirements for an electrode's main characteristics, such as resistance, the anti-sanding property of terminal portions, and withstanding voltage characteristic. In addition, a PDP electrode using the photosensitive paste composition and a PDP including the PDP electrode can be manufactured.

  • Publication number: 20050271979
Abstract: A photosensitive paste composition including a conductive particle, an inorganic binder, and an organic vehicle, in which the amount of solids in the organic vehicle is 8 to 12 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the composition and 10 to 20 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the conductive particle. When using the photosensitive paste composition, the thickness shrinkage rate of a dried film upon burning is reduced to less than 40%, and thus an edge-curl phenomenon that an edge portion of an electrode pattern is curled is minimized. Thus, a PDP electrode having an increased withstand voltage and a PDP including the PDP electrode can be provided.
