  • Patent number: 11972429
Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for identifying fraudulent transactions. A computing device receives return data identifying the return of at least one item. The computing device obtains modified strategy data identifying at least one rule of a modified strategy. The rule may be based on the application of at least one dimensionality reduction algorithm to an initial strategy. The computing device applies the modified strategy to the received return data identifying the return of the at least one item, and determines whether the return of the at least one item is fraudulent based on the application of the modified strategy. The computing device generates fraud data identifying whether the return of the at least one item is fraudulent based on the determination, and may transmit the fraud data to another computing device to indicate whether the return is fraudulent.

  • Publication number: 20240105455
Abstract: Embodiments of a wet etch process and methods are disclosed herein to provide uniform wet etching of material within high aspect ratio features. In the present disclosure, a wet etch process is used to etch material within high aspect ratio features, such as deep trenches and holes, provided on a patterned substrate. Uniform wet etching is provided in the present disclosure by ensuring that wall surfaces of the material being etched (or wall surfaces adjacent to the material being etched) exhibit a neutral surface charge when exposed to the etch solution used to etch the material.

  • Publication number: 20240096638
Abstract: Embodiments of a wet etch process and methods are disclosed herein to provide uniform wet etching of material formed within features (e.g., trenches, holes, slits, etc.), and on more planar areas of a patterned substrate, when a critical dimension (CD) of the features is relatively small compared to the more planar areas of the patterned substrate. In the present disclosure, uniform wet etching is provided by ensuring that wall surfaces adjacent to the material being etched exhibit a neutral surface charge when exposed to the etch solution used to etch the material.

  • Publication number: 20240087909
Abstract: Embodiments of improved process flows and methods are provided in the present disclosure to control fin height and channel area in a fin field effect transistor (FinFET) having gaps of variable CD. More specifically, the present disclosure provides improved transistor fabrication processes and methods that utilize a wet etch process, instead of a dry etch process, to remove the oxide material deposited within the gaps formed between the fins of a FinFET. By utilizing a wet etch process, the improved transistor fabrication processes and methods described herein provide a means to adjust or individually control the fin height of one or more the fins, thereby providing greater control over the channel area of the FinFET.

  • Publication number: 20240087908
Abstract: Embodiments of a wet etch process and method are disclosed to provide uniform etching of material formed within features (such as, e.g., trenches, holes, slits, etc.) having different critical dimension (CD). By combining a non-aqueous organic-based etch solution and an aqueous-based etch solution (either in series or in parallel) within a wet etch process, the disclosed embodiments utilize the opposing effects of CD-dependent etching to provide uniform etching of the material, regardless of CD.

  • Publication number: 20240087950
Abstract: Embodiments of improved process flows and methods are provided in the present disclosure to form air gaps between metal interconnects. More specifically, the present disclosure provides improved process flows and methods that utilize a wet etch process to form recesses between metal interconnects formed on a patterned substrate. Unlike conventional air gap integration methods, the improved process flows and methods described herein utilize the critical dimension (CD) dependent etching provided by wet etch processes to etch an intermetal dielectric material formed between the metal interconnects at a faster rate than the intermetal dielectric material is etched in surrounding areas of the patterned substrate. This enables the improved process flows and methods described herein to form recesses (and subsequently form air gaps) between the metal interconnects without using a dry etch process.

  • Publication number: 20240087907
Abstract: The present disclosure combines chemical mechanical polishing (CMP), wet etch and deposition processes to provide improved processes and methods for planarizing an uneven surface of a material layer deposited over a plurality of structures formed on a substrate. A CMP process is initially used to smooth the uneven surface and provide complete local planarization of the material layer above the plurality of structures. After achieving complete local planarization, a wet etch process is used to etch the material layer until a uniform recess is formed between the plurality of structures and the material layer is provided with a uniform thickness across the substrate. In some embodiments, an additional material layer may be deposited and a second CMP process may be used to planarize the additional material layer to provide the substrate with a globally planarized surface.

  • Patent number: 11922055
Abstract: Apparatus and method for managing data in a processing system, such as but not limited to a data storage device such as a solid-state drive (SSD). A ferroelectric stack register memory has a first arrangement of ferroelectric memory cells (FMEs) of a first construction and a second arrangement of FMEs of a different, second construction arranged to provide respective cache lines for use by a controller, such as a programmable processor. A pointer mechanism is configured to provide pointers to point to each of the respective cache lines based on a time sequence of operation of the processor. Data sets can be migrated to the different arrangements by the controller as required based on the different operational characteristics of the respective FME constructions. The FMEs may be non-volatile and read-destructive. Refresh circuitry can be selectively enacted under different operational modes.

  • Publication number: 20240070070
Abstract: Method and apparatus for managing a front-end cache formed of ferroelectric memory element (FME) cells. Prior to storage of writeback data associated with a pending write command from a client device, an intelligent cache manager circuit forwards a first status value indicative that sufficient capacity is available in the front-end cache for the writeback data. Non-requested speculative readback data previously transferred to the front-end cache from the main NVM memory store may be jettisoned to accommodate the writeback data. A second status value may be supplied to the client device if insufficient capacity is available to store the writeback data in the front-end cache, and a different, non-FME based cache may be used in such case. Mode select inputs can be supplied by the client device specify a particular quality of service level for the front-end cache, enabling selection of suitable writeback and speculative readback data processing strategies.

  • Patent number: 11908504
Abstract: A memory device formed of ferroelectric field effect transistors (FeFETs). The memory device can be used as a front end buffer, such as in a data storage device having a non-volatile memory (NVM). A controller can be configured to transfer user data between the NVM and an external client (host) via the buffer. The FeFETs can be arranged in a two-dimensional (2D) or a three-dimensional (3D) array. A monitor circuit can be used to monitor operation of the FeFETs. An optimization controller can be used to adjust at least one operational parameter associated with the FeFETs responsive to the monitored operation by the monitor circuit. The FeFETs may require a refresh operation after each read operation. A power down sequence can involve a read operation without a subsequent refresh operation to wipe the FeFETs, the read operation jettisoning the data read from the buffer memory.

  • Patent number: 11854055
Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for identifying anomalies within a time series. In some examples, a computing device receives sales data identifying a sale of at least one item, and aggregates the received data in a database. The computing device may generate a plurality of time series based on the aggregated sales data. The computing device may extract features from the plurality of time series, and generate an alerting algorithm that is based on clusters of the extracted features. The computing device may apply the alerting algorithm to a time series generated from received sales data to determine whether the time series is an anomaly. Based on the determination, the computing device may generate and transmit anomaly data identifying whether the time series is an anomaly, such as to another computing device.
