  • Publication number: 20230064209
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to detection of pathogens from a gaseous mixture associated with secretions. Conventional methods typically involve invasive or biohazardous techniques, the requirement of quantity limits utility of several natural secretions, there is a dependency on immunological reactions to develop in a subject being monitored resulting in long time taken for detecting pathogens, which increases risk to health and environment. There is also reduced specificity and sensitivity considering the dependency on signature identification or training of machine learning models. Again, prior art focusses on designing antibodies for a particular type of sensor which is challenging when dealing with natural immunoglobulin.

  • Patent number: 11432779
Abstract: Many capacitive sensing based biosignal measurements methods exist, which are generic as they do not personalize biosignal measurement. Further, are do not provide device agnostic solutions. A method and system for capacitive touch panel based biosignal measurement is provided. The method senses a change in raw capacitance value of a capacitive touch panel. However, unlike existing methods that directly utilize the raw signal for biosignal measurements, the method disclosed derives a normalized signal by normalizing a raw signal corresponding to the change in raw capacitance of the capacitive touch panel. The normalization considers inter-relationships between a plurality of variables that affect the raw capacitance value such as a set of device specific parameters associated with the capacitive touch panel of the device, a set of ethnographic parameters, and metadata associated with the subject.

  • Publication number: 20220233896
Abstract: While facing polluted environments one does not need extreme breath filtering protection all the time. Methods of the art hardly focus on breathability aspect while working on smart masks. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a system and method for context aware networked mask with dynamic air impedance for optimum breathability. The system provides a smart mask that regulates the air inlet (by modulating the position/pore size of filtering membrane or by using resizable gel) as per the prevalent risk at that instance. The context aware mask with a mesh network, disclosed herein, comprises sensors and processing unit, which use contextual information and Artificial Intelligence to develop models for generating alerts along with mechanism of dynamically regulating the pore size to ensure breathability by adjusting air impedance.

  • Patent number: 11069253
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to language processing systems, and more particularly to a method and system for language development of a user. In one embodiment, the system generates customized exercise for a user, based on a language model relevant to a language being learnt by the user. The system further collects user response to the customized exercise, and in terms of the user response, determines a current skill level of the user. Further, based on the determined skill level of the user, a skill gap is identified. The system then determines recommendations to improve language skills of the user, and to reduce/eliminate the skill gap.

  • Publication number: 20210000356
Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a system and method for screening and monitoring of cardiac diseases by analyzing acquired physiological signals. Unlike state of art approaches that consider only synchronized ECG and PPG signals for cardiac health analysis and do not consider PCG which is a critical signal for CAD analysis, the system synchronously captures physiological signals such as photo plethysmograph (PPG), phonocardiogram (PCG) and electrocardiogram (ECG) from subject(s) and builds an analytical model in the cloud for analyzing heart conditions from the captured physiological signals. The system and method provides a fusion based approach of combining the captured physiological signals such as PPG, PCG and ECG along with other details such as subject clinical information, demography information and so on. The analytical model is pretrained using ECG. PPG and PCG along with metadata associated with the subject such as demography and clinical information.

  • Patent number: 10813571
Abstract: Devices and methods are provided for non-invasive goal oriented and personalized monitoring of substance consumption directed towards aiding reduction of substance intake by a user. Based on the substance consumption characteristics and the user's profile, the user's substance consumption profile is identified and average amount of the substance in the body at a given time is computed. A threshold corresponding to amount of substance the body can sustain is then computed based on goals set by the user and the substance consumption characteristics and the user's profile. Alerts can be generated and transmitted to the user based on pre-determined conditions to help the user achieve his set goals.

  • Patent number: 10203215
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for identifying socially relevant landmarks that can facilitate wayfinding providing a landmark based route map that is easy to read and is dynamically updated by known and new landmarks based on their social relevance. GPS (Global Positioning System) locations help in identifying active zones and social media data associated with users in the zone help to identify candidate landmarks in the active zone that may be registered as new landmarks. Weights may be assigned to the landmarks based on periodicity and temporal factors to make the landmarks socially relevant and hence effective in wayfinding.

  • Patent number: 9989376
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating signature ambient sounds and maps thereof to assist in navigation based on a start location, a destination location, start time and average walking speed. The maps are generated by concatenating two or more of the signature ambient sounds and two or more of voice based navigation guidance. The signature ambient sounds for up to all location coordinate pairs in a map, for up to all time ranges and for up to all walking speed ranges are generated and tagged to the corresponding location coordinate pair, the corresponding time range and the corresponding average walking speed. The signature ambient sounds are generated by applying digital signal processing techniques on ambient sounds recorded by client devices, that are filtered and outlier removed.

  • Patent number: 9953415
Abstract: A system and method for quantification of Escherichia Coli bacteria in water is disclosed. In an embodiment, a region of interest (ROI) is obtained from an image of the water. For example, the ROI includes a plurality of pixels in the image of water contaminated with Escherichia Coli bacteria. Further, a plurality of red pixels are identified from the ROI based on a value of the plurality of pixels in the ROI and a threshold value. Furthermore, total redness of the plurality of red pixels in the ROI is calculated based on intensity of plurality of red pixels. In addition, a redness factor indicative of a degree of redness of the ROI is computed based on the calculated total redness. Quantification of the Escherichia Coli bacteria is then estimated based on the computed redness factor.
