  • Publication number: 20240104480
Abstract: A method including collating data from a plurality of data sources into a first data repository; identifying, using a machine-learning model, class clusters and relationship clusters of the collated data in the first data repository; generating a domain-specific semantic model as a graph-structured data model based on the identified class clusters and relationship clusters; generating a data object model using the domain-specific semantic model and the collated data in the first data repository; creating a first domain-specific knowledge graph by associating the data object model with the domain-specific semantic model; creating a cross-domain analytics knowledge graph for deriving insights involving cross-domain analytics by merging the first domain-specific knowledge graph with a second domain-specific knowledge graph created from a second data repository; and deriving insights corresponding to performance of one or more of an asset or a process in a facility based on utilization of the cross-domain analyti

  • Publication number: 20220398488
Abstract: Machine-learned model scoring techniques for reducing model invocations are provided. In one technique, first values for non-pair-specific interaction features that are associated with a first entity are identified. Second values for pair-specific interaction features that are associated with (a) the first entity and (b) a second entity that is different than the first entity are identified. A machine-learned model that has been trained based on the non-pair-specific interaction features and the pair-specific interaction features generates a first score based on the first values. The machine-learned model also generates a second score based on the first values and the second values. A final score for the first entity-second entity pair is computed based on the first score and the second score. Based on the final score, data about the first entity is transmitted over a computer network to a computing device associated with the second entity.

  • Patent number: 10783175
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for expanding search queries using query term weighting. A search system receives a search term comprising multiple keywords and executes a search query based on the search term. In response to determining that the number of search results is less than a threshold number, the search system determines, based on historical query reformulation data, weight values for the keywords included in the search term. The weight values indicate a probability that each respective keyword would be removed when reformulating the search term. The search system generates a reformulated search term based on the weight values and executes a second search query based on the reformulated search term. The search system causes presentation of at least a portion of the search results on a client device of the requesting user.

  • Patent number: 9060990
Abstract: Marek's disease virus (MDV), the etiologic agent of Marek's disease, is a potent oncogenic herpesvirus. MDV is highly contagious and elicits a rapid onset of malignant T-cell lymphomas in chickens within weeks after infection. MDV codes for an oncoprotein, Meq, that shares resemblance with the Jun/Fos family of b-ZIP transcription factors. Earlier studies showed that Meq is responsible for development for T-cell lymphomas in chicken. In order to identify specific regions within the Meq gene, a series of recombinant MDV were generated in which a mutated gene was introduced in place of parental Meq gene. Various mutations were introduced at the phosphorylation sites, basic region, leucine zipper region and transactivation regions of the Meq gene. Several of these mutations have been shown to have an attenuated phenotype in chickens. In one embodiment, the present invention contemplates exploiting these mutations to develop MDV vaccines that are able to protect against challenge with highly virulent MDV strains.

  • Publication number: 20110171941
Abstract: A mobile user equipment may provide audible reminders for a user identified video. A user may set a triggering event for a video. Upon detecting the triggering event, an audible reminder for the video may be generated. The sound associated with the audible reminder may be such that, when heard by the user, it identifies the video to the user. The user may become aware of the broadcast of the video by hearing the audible reminder and without looking at the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20080087435
Abstract: A subsea connector is disclosed. The connector includes a guide funnel assembly that may be coupled to a subsea structure. The guide funnel assembly may receive a shaft. The shaft may be coupled to a bend restrictor/limiter or a bend stiffener. The shaft may be received inside the guide funnel assembly. The shaft may include a recess. A latch assembly may be coupled to the guide funnel assembly. The latch assembly may include one or more dogs and a latch operating device. The dogs may be radially moveable in and out of the interior of the guide funnel assembly. The dogs may be inserted into the recess of the shaft to inhibit longitudinal axial movement between the shaft and the guide funnel assembly. The latch operating device may control the in and out radial movement of the dogs.

  • Publication number: 20050019348
Abstract: An effective vaccine for Marek's disease may be prepared using a recombinant Marek's disease virus CVI988 transformed with a foreign DNA construct which includes a long terminal repeat sequence of a reticuloendotheliosis virus. This viral agent is effective to elicit an immune response in a chicken to Marek's disease virus without causing a significant degree of pathogenicity in the inoculated bird. Suitable formulations of the vaccine for use in chickens include an effective immunization dosage of this novel viral agent with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluent.
