  • Patent number: 10930372
Abstract: A drug discovery system may include a data platform and a drug discovery module. The data platform may be scalable to include a plurality of data sources. The data sources may include at least a clinical research database providing results of clinical trials. The drug discovery module may include a pharmaco-genomic mapper configured to provide a mapping of drugs to biomarkers based on extraction of information from the data sources, and a genome connect module configured to provide a mapping of biomarkers to diseases based on extraction of information from the data sources. The drug discovery module may include processing circuitry configured to provide a potential drug to disease link based on the mapping of drugs to biomarkers and the mapping of biomarkers to diseases using the biomarkers as a bridge.

  • Publication number: 20170124263
Abstract: A personalized healthcare system may include a data platform, an analytics platform, a workflow engine and a visualization engine. The data platform is scalable to include a plurality of data sources including at least a clinical research database, genomic data, and a patient health record database. The patient health record database includes a record for each of a population of patients, a plurality of genetic markers, and a plurality of clinical parameters associated with the patients. The analytics platform is configured to analyze the data sources in response to a query. The workflow engine is configured to provide a plurality of predefined workflows corresponding to respective different conditions or diseases. The visualization engine is configured to provide a selected visualization from a plurality of predefined visualization templates based on a current operation in a selected one of the predefined workflows and based on an identity of the user.

  • Publication number: 20150324527
Abstract: A method for providing personalized healthcare for a patient is provided. The method may include receiving information indicative of a patient, retrieving a record associated with the patient, receiving a query identifying a healthcare related issue associated with the patient, performing analytics via a statistical discovery component and a natural language processing component configured to interface with respective portions of heterogeneous data sources to selectively identify correlations between genomic profile information of the patient and selected data of the data sources, applying a selected risk model based on the query; and providing a response to the query including information associated with clinical decision support tailored to an identity of the user, the user being a selected one of a patient, a researcher and a clinician.
