  • Publication number: 20240333420
Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a UE to limit the number of transport blocks (TBs) per protocol data unit (PDU) set to a specified minimum number, such that the UE may not be specified to receive or transmit a large number of packets in one TB or in few TBs. In one aspect, a UE computes a FEC rate (F) for at least one PDU set size (f) and a number of partitions (D) for a division of the at least one PDU set size (f). The UE transmits, for a network entity, at least one of: (1) an indication of the computed FEC rate (F) and the computed number of partitions (D) for at least one PDU set size (f), or (2) at least one PDU set based on the computed FEC rate (F) and the computed number of partitions (D).

  • Publication number: 20240267153
Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for dynamic error correction for data transmissions may include determining parameters of a wireless communication link by which a user equipment (UE) receives data that is transmitted from a remote computing device via a wireless communication network and that is used by an application executing in the UE, receiving sensor information from sensors of the UE, predicting a condition of the wireless communication link based on the determined parameters of the wireless communication link and the received sensor information, and selecting a forward error correction (FEC) rate for communications with the remote computing device based on the predicted condition of the wireless communication link.

  • Publication number: 20240250780
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A UE may receive outer coded downlink signaling via carrier aggregation, and may deactivate retransmission protocols and then selecting at least one of two different feedback modes. A first feedback mode may include a radio link control (RLC) status report mode (e.g., which may be referred to as mode 1, or RLC mode 1). A second feedback mode is a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback mode (e.g., which may be referred to as mode 2, or HARQ mode 2. The network may configure the UE with parameters for operating in mode 1, mode 2, or both, or the UE may select a feedback mode autonomously. The UE may refrain from transmitting additional feedback signaling, and retransmissions may be deactivated, resulting in improved power savings and more efficient use of system resources.

  • Publication number: 20230267931
Abstract: Systems, methods, and storage media for providing an interface for textual editing through speech may: store a narrative textual message; transmit the narrative textual message to a client computing platform to facilitate visual presentation; receive user speech information representing audible speech uttered by the user during the presentation; perform speech recognition on the user speech information to determine words spoken by the user contemporaneous with visual presentation of the narrative textual message; analyze the words spoken by the user contemporaneous to visual presentation of the narrative textual message to detect whether an editing command was spoken by the user during visual presentation of the narrative textual message; process the editing command; and transmit information to the client computing platform that causes visual presentation of the narrative textual message including edits caused by processing editing commands.

  • Patent number: 11715471
Abstract: Systems and methods for recognizing and executing spoken commands using speech recognition. Exemplary implementations may: store actionable phrases; obtain audio information representing sound captured by a mobile client computing platform associated with a user; detect any spoken instances of a predetermined keyword present in the sound represented by the audio information; perform speech recognition on the sound represented by the audio information; identify an utterance of an individual actionable phrase in speech temporally adjacent to the spoken instance of the predetermined keyword that is present in the sound represented by the audio information; perform natural language processing to identify an individual command uttered temporally adjacent to the spoken instance of the predetermined keyword that is present in the sound represented by the audio information; and effectuate performance of instructions corresponding to the command.

  • Patent number: 11670291
Abstract: Systems, methods, and storage media for providing an interface for textual editing through speech are disclosed. One aspect of the disclosure may include storing a narrative textual message and presenting the narrative textual message via a client computing platform. Speech uttered by a user may be received. Speech recognition may be performed on the speech to determine words spoken by the user. The words determined from the speech may be analyzed to detect whether an editing command was spoken. The editing command may include a parameter and an edited value for the parameter. The editing command may be processed to insert the edited value for the parameter or replace an initial value to the parameter with the edited value. Information may be transmitted to the client computing platform that causes the narrative textual message to be visually presented including edits based on the editing command.
