  • Publication number: 20240129204
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing a GUI for representing tunnels and stretched networks in a virtual entity pathway virtualization. In an example, an application can obtain data related to physical and virtual entities in a stretch network and build a model of the stretch network using the data. The model can be based on a flow of network traffic between two entities. The application can render a GUI that illustrates the flow of traffic between two entities, including any datacenters, physical entities, and virtual entities involved in the network flow. The GUI can display the entities in a way that shows which virtual extensible local area network is being used to transfer the network traffic at each step in the network flow. The GUI can also display icons representing remote tunnel endpoints that show how network traffic is transferred between datacenters.

  • Patent number: 11757721
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method of application topology visualization of a computing environment is disclosed. The application topology visualization obtains relationship data for a plurality of managed components, wherein the plurality of managed components have an application operating thereon. Event data for the plurality of managed components is also obtained. An application topology visualizer is used to generate the application topology visualization of the computing environment including the plurality of managed components, wherein the application topology visualization uses the relationship data and the event data for the plurality of managed components. A graphical user interface is used to display the application topology visualization of the computing environment as a single page.

  • Patent number: 9923782
Abstract: A computerized virtual entity pathway visualization method and system provide a virtual entity packet pathway display indicating a packet pathway along which a data packet would travel from between virtual entities (e.g., virtual machines) in a computer system. One implementation includes modeling of a computer system having physical and virtual entities, identifying a packet pathway from a source virtual entity in the computer system to a destination virtual entity in the computer system, and rendering on a computer display screen a packet pathway and an arrangement of plural active icons corresponding to physical and virtual entities included in the packet pathway from the source virtual entity to the destination virtual entity.
