Abstract: An inline hookah filter constructed to fit between the hookah outlet and hookah hose, and to filter undesired impurities, such as water, soot, ash, tar, and some toxic chemicals out of the smoke in a standard hookah, or other water pipe. The inline hookah filter is a cylindrical shape, formed with tapered tip and female tapered seal on opposing ends, constructed to accommodate all standard hookah fittings and create airtight seals between the hookah and the inline fitter and between the inline filter and hose with the use specially designed seals and coatings.

Abstract: A new button activated disposable electronic cigarette that has power shut off protection. The power shut off protection includes a control system with a micro controller unit that deactivates the electronic cigarette upon expiration of a predetermined maximum use time. The power shut off protection further includes LED indicators that flash upon deactivation for use beyond the expiration of the predetermined maximum use time in order to educate the user that the electronic cigarette has been misused. The power shut off protection ensures that the battery charge and integrity of the internal circuitry will survive the e-liquid supply contained within the electronic cigarette.
