Abstract: A container opening tool includes first and second legs hingedly secured to one another. Each leg has proximal and distal portions each having an aperture wall including a gripping material. The aperture walls form of the first and second legs are positionable to form proximal and distal apertures. The aperture walls of the distal portions define an elongate aperture, such as an oval or ellipse. Bottle opening flanges secure to the first and second legs and project into the proximal aperture. When the legs are pivoted together, the flanges are positioned adjacent one another and function as a single bottle opener. A blade secures to the second leg near the distal end positioned within a recess formed proximate the distal end of the second leg. A projection is formed on the distal end of the first leg and positionable proximate the blade to press a bag against the blade.

Abstract: A mold is integrally formed from a flexible material that is suitable for baking or molding food products, such as food grade silicone. In one example, the mold includes a rim at the top and a wall extending between the rim and a base at the bottom. The wall is sufficiently thick that the pan can support its own weight while holding a food item. The mold may include an interior or exterior relief pattern that is imparted onto the food item. In some forms, an upper portion of the mold is relatively smooth and more flexible than a lower portion having a relief pattern. An internal U-shaped stiffening element helps to prevent the mold from collapsing and improves handling of the mold.

Abstract: A convertible peeler includes a cutting blade that is adjustable in more than one orientation. In a first orientation, the peeler can be used as a “Y-Peeler” so that the blade is generally orthogonal to the handle. In a second orientation, the peeler can be used as an in-line peeler so that the blade is generally parallel with the handle. In its preferred form, the blade can also be secured to a plurality of positions at a range of angles between parallel and orthogonal. In some examples of the invention, the blade can be adjustably secured to the handle by rotating a threaded fastener secured to the handle. Rotating the fastener in an opposite direction tightens the blade to hold it in the desired location.

Abstract: A food chopping or slicing device preferably includes three primary components, including a lid, a blade tray, and a food reservoir. The lid and the food reservoir are pivotally connected to one another, with the blade tray being removably mounted within an upper rim of the reservoir. In some embodiments a reservoir bottom is removable and the device includes orthogonal volumetric markings.
