Abstract: A high level network topology is generated and displayed, illustrating the interconnection of various network devices. At least one network device graphically represented in the network topology may be “zoomed-in” on, which shows additional, more detailed performance parameters of the at least one network device. Using these additional performance parameters, an administrator may be able to more effectively monitor network devices in order to determine the source or effect of a network event.
