  • Publication number: 20240014200
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of relocating optical devices onto a carrier substrate in a case where a pixel pitch of a display is not an integer multiple of a pitch of the optical devices arrayed on a sapphire substrate. A moving speed ratio between a donor substrate and a receptor substrate is determined from an array pitch (3, 4) of optical devices (2) formed on the sapphire substrate and an array pitch (5, 7) of optical devices to be transferred onto a carrier substrate (6), and the optical devices are subjected to LIFT (laser transferred) in synchronization with movement of the donor substrate, whereby the optical devices on the sapphire substrate are transferred onto the carrier substrate at an array pitch that is identical to the pixel pitch of the display.

  • Publication number: 20230369531
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a display device capable of reducing tact time includes: a transfer step of arranging an anisotropic conductive adhesive layer provided on a base material that is transparent to laser light and a wiring board to face each other, and irradiating laser light from the base material side so that individual pieces of the anisotropic conductive adhesive layer are transferred to and arranged at predetermined positions on the wiring board; and a mounting step of mounting light-emitting elements on the individual pieces arranged at the predetermined positions on the wiring board. The individual pieces of the anisotropic conductive adhesive layer are able to be transferred and arranged with high precision and high efficiency by irradiation of laser light.

  • Publication number: 20230343625
Abstract: Proposed are a method and an apparatus for transferring devices arranged on a first substrate to a second substrate by using laser light while correcting positional deviations of the devices. The present invention involves: acquiring actual positional information about devices on the first substrate; performing grouping in accordance with a criterion determined on the basis of an allowable positional deviation amount; correcting, for each group unit, a position of the first substrate such that positions of the devices fall into a range of an allowable positional deviation amount; and applying laser light from the back surface of the first substrate and transferring the devices to the second substrate.

  • Publication number: 20110017711
Abstract: A beam processing apparatus is provided in which a beam is irradiated to a layer 3 to be processed which is formed on one surface of a substrate 2, thereby to process the layer. The apparatus has a gas floating mechanism 10 that supports the substrate in flatly-floated state by ejecting gas, and a beam irradiation unit 50 that irradiates a beam to the layer 3 which is formed on one surface of the substrate 2, thereby to process the layer 3. The substrate 2 is arranged on the gas floating mechanism 10 with one surface of the substrate 2 on which the layer 3 is formed being directed downwards. Then, processing is applied to the layer 3 by irradiating a beam on the layer 3 through the substrate 2 by means of the beam irradiation unit 50 from above the other surface of the substrate 2.

  • Publication number: 20090288442
Abstract: A discharge device in a substance modifying device is provided with a positive electrode in linear or needle form and a negative electrode in plane form. Thus, substances having a nanostructure are made to contact an active species generated through streamer discharge, which is discharge between the positive and negative electrodes, where discharge between certain points of the positive electrode and a number of points on the negative electrode occurs stably and approximately simultaneously, and is diffused from between the positive and negative electrodes, so that the nanostructure is eliminated. The nanostructure is eliminated in this manner, and thus, the bioinvasive response due to the nanostructure of substances is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20080050288
Abstract: An air purification member is provided that can reduce the generation of unpleasant odor or the occurrence of air contamination without necessitating frequent cleaning or replacement. The air purification member can be part of an air purification unit or an air conditioning apparatus. A first photocatalytic filter of an air purifier is a filter for purifying air that contains particulates containing viruses or microbes, and is provided with a photocatalytic filter and a photocatalytic apatite. The photocatalytic filter collects the particulates. The photocatalytic apatite removes viruses or microbes that are contained in the particulates collected by the photocatalytic filter.
