The port generating section generates the port by using the first IP address currently set to the device in a case where the setting method information indicates a first type of setting method where an IP address is set to the device as a result of an user input of the IP address to the device, and generates the port by using a device name currently set to the device in a case where the setting method information indicates a second type of setting method different from the first type of setting method.
