An inner cylinder (13) is fit internally to an upper part of the first cap portion, and a return spring (20) biases the inner cylinder up. A second cap portion (12) is fit rotatably on the first cap portion. The first cap portion has a temporary holding hole (22) in which a guide protrusion (13a) of the inner cylinder is held temporarily against the biasing force of the return spring so that an upper end of the inner cylinder is lower than an upper end portion of the first cap portion when the guide protrusion is held temporarily in the temporary holding hole. Thus, the upper end of the first cap portion can deform to bend inward without being obstructed by the inner cylinder when the second cap portion is fit on the first cap portion.

An upper portion of the holder defined as a cup is configured so that the rod-like article can be attached thereto and a lower portion of the holder defined as a stem extending downward from the cup is adapted to be slidably engaged with the second groove of the inner cylinder.

Abstract: A cement admixture that includes a copolymer obtained by polymerizing (A) 10 to 85% by weight of N-vinylacetamide or a monomer derived therefrom, (B) 10 to 90% by weight of an (alkoxy)polyethylene glycol (meth)acrylate or (alkoxy)polyethylene glycol (meth)allyl ether monomer, (C) 5 to 50% by weight of a vinyl monomer containing one carboxylic acid group, at least one sulfonic acid group or salt thereof in a molecule, and (D) 0 to 40% by weight of a vinyl monomer other than (A), (B) and (C), provided that the sum of monomers (A), (B), (C) and (D) is 100% by weight. The cement admixture by itself can impart a cement composition with flowability, flowability maintenance ability, packing property and resistance to segregation in good balance, and is effective in improvement of workability, operability, and quality of hardened article.

Abstract: A stick-type cosmetic applicator comprising: a solid cosmetic; a housing sleeve for said solid cosmetic; a sliding sleeve which has a solid cosmetic holder at the top thereof which holder moves along the inner surface of said housing sleeve; a driving sleeve which has at least a continued spiral groove on the inner surface thereof; a guide sleeve which is installed into said driving sleeve and has at least one longitudinal slot for guiding a pin which is provided on said sliding sleeve and engages with said spiral groove through said slot; an intermediate sleeve which is installed onto the outer side of the lower portion of said housing sleeve and receives a cap, and; an outer sleeve installed onto the outer side of the lower portion of said intermediate sleeve. Said guide sleeve and said driving sleeve are disposed below said housing sleeve.
