    Abstract: Transfer control means (41) transfers part of held digital contents in an internal storage device (51) to a network storage device (57). List information presentation means (42) returns list information which makes the digital contents stored in the internal storage device (51) and the network storage device (57) as the held digital contents in response to a list presentation request for the held digital contents. Upon reception of a data transmission request, search means (43) searches where the held digital contents are currently stored. If the result of the search shows the network storage device (57), content data transmission processing means (44) allows the stream-delivery of the data from the network storage device (57) to a network player (56). There is provided a server device for media (40) capable of maintaining the convenience of playback in a network player, while properly dealing with the large total size of held digital contents.

A plurality of bundled conducting wires are wound around the winding core into a coiled shape. An external cover element is formed by extruding the kneaded material to enclose the plurality of conducting wires. The winding core and the external cover element are sintered such that the plurality of bundled conducting wires wound around the core into a coiled shape are deformed into a zigzag manner by the stress due to shrinkage of the external cover element at the time of sintering thereof. The partially manufactured product obtained by the preceding steps, is cut into a predetermined length to thereby obtain a plurality of chip inductor main bodies. An external electrode is formed on each of end surfaces of the respective chip inductor main bodies. The external electrode is connected to each end portion of the conducting wires.

    Abstract: A system and method for automatically controlling a vehicle speed to a desired cruising speed are disclosed in which an abrupt deceleration time for which the vehicle is abruptly decelerated to the vehicle speed at a time when an off operation of an acceleration switch in a cruise command switch group is carried out after an on operation of the acceleration switch to carry out a constant deceleration of the vehicle is calculated from the total duration of time for which the actuator is controlled so that the vehicle speed increases at a constant rate. Therefore, no need to adjust the abrupt deceleration time according to the individual vehicles in which the systems are mounted. In addition, since the actuator is rendered in the abrupt deceleration state within the appropriate duration of time, road conditions, or a speed range in which the vehicle cruises does not affect the performance of the system.

Second and third initialization signal values have predetermined functional relationships to a first initialization signal value which is set when the accelerator switch is initially operated. These signal values are, e.g., time widths for which a vacuum supply valve of a throttle valve actuator is opened so that an engine throttle valve is opened to increase the vehicle speed.
