  • Patent number: 7162230
Abstract: A radio-controlled device is provided that has improved steering responsivity. The radio-controlled device consists of a transmitter, a receiver, and digital servomechanisms. A PPM signal format of signals transmitted from the transmitter is shown in FIG. 4(a). Signals having time widths (T1, T2, t3) proportional to displacements of a transmitter joystick are distributed to drive the servomechanisms. As shown in FIG. 4(b), the transmission side transmits, to a final channel CH3, a signal having a time width of T3 (=t3+R), being the sum of the time width t3 and a reset reference value R (Nt3?Nt1). The receiver side subtracts the reset reference value R, thus restoring it to the original time width t3. By adding the reset reference value R, the minimum value L3 of a signal in the final channel is larger than the maximum value V1 of other signal.

  • Patent number: 5850597
Abstract: An RF module for a radio control transmitter capable of detecting detaching of the RF module from a transmitter body while keeping the transmitter body turned on. The RF module includes a monitor circuit, which judges whether or not a modulation signal is outputted from the transmitter body within 1 second after the RF module is turned on and further judges, when it is judged that the modulation signal has been fed within 1 second, whether the modulation signal is a PCM signal or a PPM signal. When it is a PCM signal, an RV output is rendered "on"; whereas when it is a PPM signal, the RF output is rendered "off".

  • Patent number: 5764697
Abstract: A radio control device includes a transmitter, in which a crystal type high frequency module equipped with a high frequency circuit corresponding to a frequency band of a carrier and a PLL high frequency module equipped with the high frequency circuit and a PLL circuit for controlling a frequency of the carrier depending on a phase difference between the carrier and a reference signal of oscillator are detachably mounted. Such construction permits the crystal type high frequency module and PLL high frequency module to be selectively used as desired and transmission data to be output by means of the carrier of a desired frequency set depending on the high frequency module.

  • Patent number: 5525972
Abstract: An adjusting device for a radio control transmitter capable of adjusting the amount of operation of a model with respect to the amount of operation of a stick of the radio control transmitter during controlling of the model by the transmitter while confirming operation of the model. An adjusting section of a first radio control transmitter for control of a model is connected through a cable to an adjusting section of a second radio control transmitter which adjusts the amount of operation of the model with respect to the amount of operation of a stick of the first transmitter, so that an adjusting operation by the adjusting section of the second transmitter leads to adjustment of the first transmitter which is controlling the model.

  • Patent number: 5408149
Abstract: A power control circuit for an electronic equipment capable of turning off a power switch to prevent useless consumption of a power supply battery when non-operation of an electronic equipment over a predetermined period of time is detected. A counter circuit 25 is reset when a power switch is turned on, so that a main switch is turned on to render an electronic equipment operative. When a signal is generated from a logical circuit detecting auto cut-off conditions, a clock signal is fed from a control circuit to the counter circuit, so that the main switch is turned off by a carryover signal. After the auto cut-off conditions are detected, a predetermined number of clock pulses are counted to cause the main switch to be turned off, to thereby prevent malfunction of the electronic equipment due to incidental introduction of noise thereinto.
