  • Publication number: 20020140872
Abstract: A dual digital television tuner includes first and second direct conversion circuits, each having a pair of mixers and a local oscillator, in which a digital television signal is input to the pair of mixers, which directly output baseband signals. The first direct conversion circuit may have a frequency divider or a multiplier. Each of the pair of mixers, the local oscillator, the frequency divider, and the multiplier is constituted by a balanced circuit. An oscillation signal of the local oscillator in the first direct conversion circuit is input to the pair of mixers of the first direct conversion circuit through the frequency divider or the multiplier.

  • Patent number: 6429544
Abstract: An electrical equipment module is mounted in, for example, an electrically-powered seat unit for a vehicle. Multiple wire groups (52-56) comprised of wire harnesses or flat cables are led out of a module body (51) of the electrical equipment module (50) from different sides of the module body, thus reducing the outside diameter and thickness of each wire group so that the module body is thin and suited to be mounted in narrow layout space under a seat. By mounting, to the module body, a connector for connecting a printed circuit board (51m) in the module body to an external power supply or an external sensor and by making complicated wiring between the connector and the printed circuit board (51m) in advance in the module body, an assembling (wiring) work at the time of manufacturing the electrical equipment module is simplified.

  • Patent number: 6127741
Abstract: A vehicular use power feed apparatus comprising a battery and a plurality of power distribution units connected in a loop via power feed lines. Each power distribution unit has a current monitoring circuit, a current amount determination circuit, and a current direction determination circuit, detects the direction of current and magnitude of current flowing through the power feed line, and thereby detects an occurrence of a short-circuit. A control unit exchanges information regarding occurrence of short-circuits with adjoining power distribution units via a multiplex signal transmission unit so as to pinpoint the trouble point. The control unit operates the relay switch circuits on the two sides to break the connection so as to isolate the trouble point in cooperation with the control unit of the adjoining power distribution unit. The other relay switch circuit is operated to establish a connection so as to establish a new power feed line.

  • Patent number: 4998955
Abstract: A camshaft having a steel shaft and cam pieces made from a sintering iron-base alloy material and fixed to the shaft by sintering. Prior to sintering, the green or pre-sintered cam piece is fitted on the shaft and positioned by a steel positioning pin, which is inserted both into a pin-receiving hole in the shaft and into a pin-receiving groove on the side surface of the cam piece. The positioning pin contains carbon less than the steel shaft. This results in that the carbon diffusion initiates at a predetermined position where the pin and the cam piece are in contact with each other and that the cam piece always shrinks about the position.

  • Patent number: 4891972
Abstract: A method and device for the examination of a joint between a hollow steel shaft and a piece joined to the steel hollow shaft of a composite camshaft using ultrasonic examination. In the ultrasonic examination, the composite camshaft is put into a liquid and a probe of an ultrasonic search unit is inserted inside of the hollow steel shaft. The ultraonic examination of the joint is performed from inside of the hollow steel shaft. According to the ultrasonic examination, any kind of joint of the composite camshaft is possible, because a distance from an inside surface of the hollow steel shaft to the joint is constant. In addition, since the probe does not contact the inside surface of the hollow steel shaft, the probe is not consumed due to abrasion.

  • Patent number: 4884095
Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus for optically writing a data onto a non-exposed film being coated with photosensive material while moving the film to a predetermined direction. The data represents a film frame No., photosensitive emulsion lot No. and so on. The apparatus has two groups of LEDs being arranged with a pitch in parallel two lines being crossing at right angles to a film proceeding direction. The disposing position of LEDs on the one line differs by half of the pitch from that on another line. Therefore, the center of light spot on the one of spotted parallel line irradiated on the film does not face with that on another spotted line along the film proceeding direction. Further, the emission timings of the two groups of light emission sources are respectively controlled to have some time lag therebetween, thereby superposing partially the parallel two spotted lines.
