  • Publication number: 20240151443
Abstract: A refrigeration cycle apparatus includes a refrigerant circuit in which a compressor, a heat source side heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and a user side heat exchanger are connected by a refrigerant pipe. Further, the refrigeration cycle apparatus includes a detector configured to detect a discharge temperature of the compressor, and a heat transfer pipe temperature and an outlet pipe temperature of the heat exchanger functioning as a condenser; and a controller capable of performing a supercooling degree control and a discharge temperature control or a discharge superheating degree control, based on a result of the detection by the detector. The controller is configured to control an opening degree of the expansion valve based on any of the supercooling degree control and the discharge temperature control or the discharge superheating degree control, according to operating characteristics of the refrigeration cycle apparatus.

  • Patent number: 4803238
Abstract: A compounding oil for polymers which can be used as a plasticizer, process oil, thinner, softening agent, extender or the like. The compounding oil of the invention comprises a fraction mainly containing triaryldialkanes and having boiling points in the range of 350.degree. to 450.degree. C., which fraction is prepared by disproportionating a by-product oil fraction at temperatures in the range of 20.degree. to 500.degree. C. in the presence of a disproportionation catalyst, said by-product oil fraction mainly containing diarylalkanes, having boiling points in the range of 260.degree. to 320.degree. C., and being obtained from the process to prepare alkylated monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by alkylating monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons with olefins in the presence of an alkylation catalyst.

  • Patent number: 4686548
Abstract: A pressure-sensitive recording material of the type which is prepared by using an electron donating dye-precursor that produces a color when the dye-precursor is brought into contact with an electron accepting color developer. The pressure-sensitive recording material is characterized in that the solvent for said dye-precursor comprises an alkylated fraction which is prepared by alkylating a by-product fraction with at least one alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, the by-product fraction containing the components within the boiling range of 255.degree. to 300.degree. C. on the atmospheric pressure basis and being obtained in the process for producing ethylbenzene or ethyltoluene from ethylene and benzene or toluene. The pressure-sensitive recording material of the invention has scarcely offensive odor and can develop a dense color with a higher color developing rate.
